Just saying, boots in that style are available with insulation and are also waterproof. Beautiful scenery though!

Horse work great on the plains.
Mules are great in the hills.

It warms my heart to see you guys showcasing the ability of mules. What is your preferred crossing for your ideal mule? Does crossing a cow-bred AQHA with a donkey produce a mule that has good ability and drive with cows? Or does that not matter? I saw in one of your videos you had a gated mule, so of course there was a cross with a gated horse.

It all depends on the mare. Some of my favorite mules have been both gated and quarter horse mules. Although in general the quarter horse mules have better cow sense.
      Thanks for watching!

Yesterday I wore my older well used boots to town and stepped in a puddle and got wet feet. I forgot I wasn't wearing my snow boots.

I have the same question as Daniel more or less. Are you running a shoe with borium on it to prevent slippage and if you are running with shoes on are you using pads to prevent ice balls from forming?

I’m curious if your dogs feet ever get cold in that weather?? I own mastiffs and bully’s and there feet can’t last more than 15 minutes maximum out in the snow

I'm curious, what type of shoes do you have on your mules and horses riding in rough country in the snow

Daniel Baker if he breeds them good enough and switches them out all the time there’s no need
