You are very welcome. God bless :)
I needed that, thank you for speaking to my heart.
Glad you enjoyed! God bless :)
Beautiful homily Fr on todays Mass readings. Brought me to tears. Yes, I am one in the midst of life’s storm. I begin to walk out but quickly my mind wanders off the gaze of Jesus. Instead of reaching out, I panic. Thank you for reminding me to keep my focus on Jesus and not the storm around me. Bless you always Fr and be assured of my prayers. Homily shared 🙏🙏🙏✝️
Glad you enjoyed!
Father, thank you for this beautiful homily! It was Taylor made for a conversation. I had with my college daughter just last night. I am sending this to her, hoping it will help her, as I’m sure it helped your congregation and me! I think God that I have discovered you. May God bless you for your priesthood!
So wonderful! God bless :)
Read that scripture, know it well but I interpreted it like that. That Jesus could have stopped the storm but instead goes in there with us. Thank you Father for that deep homily.
Glad you enjoyed! God bless :)
Jesus Himself, in the Garden on the night of his arrest, says to the Father, "your will be done" as Jesus faces the most cruel method of capital punishment the Romans had devised. He accepted the "storm". Just like in relationships, we learn just how much people love us when they stick with us through the tough times. God allows us to show how much we love Him by remaining faithful in the tough times and in that storm, honoring that faith and commitment, He walks with us. In another storm, the boat is tossed and buffeted and the Apostles are sure they will die, while Jesus sleeps. When they wake him, like with Peter, he rebukes them first, why are you afraid? and then he rebukes the storm and all is calm. The storms eventually end and, if we walk with Jesus through it, on the other side we are stronger, wiser, with a deeper faith and better understanding of how God made us stronger, God gave us greater wisdom, God gave us grace throughout.
Thank you for your beautiful comments. I once heard a good priest say the "boat" is life. We should never forget that Jesus is in the boat with us! After a storm, some people think that they got through it on their own. They are mistaken. Jesus not only gets you through, sometimes he carries you through. Jezu Ufam Tobie...
Wow. It could be irony or maybe something more to come 😬 that I happened to watch this particular video/homily. Earlier today we were visiting my mother-in-law and my seven year old son was sitting in the dining room by himself watching a UA-cam video. As I walked by on my way to the bathroom he made a comment about some guy in the video who was trying to walk on water and wasn’t able to. I saw it as an opportunity to teach him more about God, so I briefly told him this story. Both instances are random, and I just don’t think things like this happen without reason. I just don’t know what it is yet. 🫤🤔💭. God bless, and thank you!
Glad you enjoyed!
I have been a Baptist all of my life - but I really like this guy!
Glad you enjoyed! God bless :)
I’ve been a Catholic all my life, and just love him🙏❤️
