I bought some BMF from Donn years ago at a PMSI model show In Hampton VA. Jake..Hats off to You buddy for keeping these videos going. RIP DONN...The Model car community misses you.
I use them more for parts than anything else . The body needs tweaked to make it right . Some day when I’m feeling masochist, I’ll build another one …😂
I haven't watched most of your vids yet but plan to. Can you tell me what would be a good way to make the chrome look more real? Like how to tone it down? So it looks a bit weathered?
Bare metal foil....rule #1 take it easy on the coffee... #2 a nice hard drink....#3 take a valium 10 Relax daddy's little helper.....#5 a nice brand new sharp #11 blade....on to the Zen of Chrome!😁👍

Good information..know what you mean about BMF not sticking..going to try hair dryer, thks!
Why not just use a scalpel blade handle instead of snipping the blade?
It’s a matter of preference , I simply don’t like the feel of the handle in my hand ….
Thanks for sharing.
Hey Donn is that green coronet kit in front of you a good kit

Use a black wash.

Nothing like the real thing ( Aluminum)! Being surgically clean goes a long way!
