Having spent over a week in a village in the countryside of Belarus, I embarked on my solo travel from Minsk, the capital city, up to the Northeast corner of Belarus. On today’s journey, I took a small van all the way back to Minsk, bought a ticket using the Russian language and caught a high-speed train towards the countryside.

ABOUT ME:
In 2013, I started my solo travel journey, leaving Indonesia in 2016 to become a full-time traveler and UA-cam creator. My background in International Relations has fueled a profound interest in exploring different countries. My content focuses on exploring different cultures through the lens of a solo female traveler, aiming to capture real-life interactions and experiences.
My travels kicked off with a five-month trip across Asia, after which I moved to China in January 2017 to work as an English teacher-my first time living abroad. I left China in 2018 to fully commit to creating videos on UA-cam, where I share my travels and the cultures I encounter.
Living nomadically since 2016, I settled in England in early 2022 after marrying my British husband, David. Now based in the UK, I continue to travel and share my adventures on UA-cam.

Downtown Vitebsk is very fairytale at night and in the early morning, before sunrise.
I was mesmerized by its cathedrals and arty lampposts spilling yellow dreamy light onto snowdrifts and the narrow morning streets yet void of pedestrians struggling through snow and bad weather.

It's nice to see you having a good time in Belarus. I visited Minsk a few years ago, it's indeed a very lovely and clean city. I'm actually impressed by the way you communicate with people by only using Google Translate. The translations from English are a bit too literal and informal, but hey, at least you got what you wanted. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your travels!

I am amazed to observe how beautiful, well-developed the infrastructure and warm-hearted people this Eastern European country has. We also had a visa on arrival but traveling restrictions forbade us to travel there.

Haven't got s chance to visit Eastern Europe except Hungry way back during my college winter break from UK during late 70s... So much changes as per videos in UA-cam ... Have visited Russia but 90s but not d breakaway 15 smaller democratic countries .shud b interesting too .

From my last visit in Minsk the train station changed completely. The train looks exactly the same as Polish short distance train? I think the coffee machine in local shorts distance train is excellent idea ! Belarus country site look peaceful absolutely beautiful! Hopefully I can visit soon?
