Guys, the dog is fine. This doesn’t hurt them. Pitbulls, staffies, bulldogs, anything similar, they were all bred to grab and hold. It doesn’t ruin their teeth, their teeth and jaws are made to withstand this. Giving them a spring pole to play with is better than forcing them to fight bulls or attack other dogs. They’re high energy and even the friendly ones still have an instinct to grab and hold, and spring poles and tug-of-war help get energy out and give them a way to deal with that instinct in a non-destructive way. Would you rather the dog be biting and holding? A piece of the couch? Your door? Your favorite shirt?
