Hi! I'm a senior in high school and I want to start a pet grooming business one day, but I can't decide if I should go to college first. It would be nice to have a backup plan in case grooming doesn't work out for me, but college is so expensive. Thoughts on this?
Do both .. work for Petco as a groomer they usually train u an then do it on the side for your peers that go to your school for a discount .. it's a good hustle on the side because your doing something u want to do for a minute until u have another goal

I recently scored an interview at a groomer's place as a groomer trainee and they're bringing me in for a second interview which consists of bathing a dog and seeing how I do. Are there any tips you can give that will help me wow them? I love dogs so it'll already be easy enough to show that.

@@PawsRelax Thank you! I haven't professionally washed a dog before, no. I haven't even owned one before so I wouldn't know what it's like to wash one haha, just a cat.
No problem! Couple questions- are they going to get you to dry the dog as well and when is your interview?

But here are my tips- shampoo and rinse TWICE! Then condition, then rinse really well! Make sure you scrub well- don’t leave anywhere unwashed!
Wash body first then head (dogs usually shake once you get their head wet) point dogs nose down while rinsing so they don’t Inhale the water. Towel dry well, use dryer to dry to 100% dry :)
