Here are fashion trends that fell off in 2023. It's been a while since I made a "best and worst fashion trends" video, so I figured I'd make a video dedicated to fashion trends that died this year. At least for right now. Hope you enjoy.
#fashiontrends - Навчання та стиль

This video only applies to people who care about what people think. So with that being said spend your money how u like and wear what you wanna wear✌🏾
Absolutely agree 💯
that is very true! Don't care abt what people think they're just jealous!
Yea no shit Sherlock 🕵🏽 he’s just saying that they’re not trendy anymore if you like it you like it if you don’t you don’t 🤷🏽♂️
Yeah keep wearing your Yeezys bro 😂😂😂
Word bro popped my Yeezys on last week after a long time and I fell in love all over again, forgot how comfortable those mfs wear 😭
I think we're currently stuck in the microcosm of "trend" vs. "essential". 1s and Vans are just lifestyle pieces I don't see ever disappearing. Bussdown jewelry, tight pants, COOKED Forces, and a lot of older fashion houses pushing sneakers that look like staple sneakers like 1s, dunks, or notable platform sneakers....probably done if not coming to a close soon imo.
I do think they are essential, but an essential can trend. I don’t think people should not wear these things, they just aren’t trends anymore
@JadonGrundy nah fasho, kinda like what you said about the Suicoke's. I do think that in the near future, we're gonna see even more DIY brands that will continue to make some pretty solid game changers.
Oh, and idk if you already have it in the tuck, but do you think you could drop some summer cargo recs in an upcoming vid?
@@skut9 I have some summer inspired videos coming, haven’t specifically geared it towards cargos, but if I find some fire ones I’ll incorporate some
Slim fit jeans aren’t going anywhere anytime soon, and most people still prefer that look, only gen Z is wearing baggy Y2K clothes
Vans were out of style until 2014 where they went from school shooters shoe to everyone needs em. They've fallen off since 2022.
Dunks and Jordan 1s are still worn pretty damn often where I'm at. Especially the Dunks.
Exactly, I was about to say that 😂
They are but they’re played out and corny because EVERYONE is wearing them especially all the teenage white girls. I don’t like wearing them anymore because they’ve become a “lifestyle” sneaker
@@shady4chi Yeah I now tend to wear some of my other jordan models. Rocking the 3's 13's 6's 7's 11's 12's are the way to go. I also like the 4's but most would agree they are played out not as bad as the 1's but played out.
For a lot of us dunks and Jordan’s were never a trend..and a lot of us continue to rock them because….they were never a trend to a lot of us..😂
@@MrDBcooper77bro exactly lol I’ll wear jordan 1s 3s and 4s until the day I die. Could care less about what’s played out or corny😂
Jordan 1s are TIMELESS which is part of the reason they have such a broad appeal. It's like saying the IPhone is dead because a billion people have one. Classics CAN fall in and out of favour, like he said, but they literally NEVER die.
Agree to all. That’s why as I’ve gotten older, I choose to stay away from pure trends and seasonal items. Just keep unique things that can last a long time. Some of my favorite pieces, I’ve had over 5 years.
On a different note… yes jordans and dunks are over saturated. However, jordans will always be around. Even if not on this level. He was and is the greatest player ever. He’s not just a clothing brand. The main chicago 1’s are one of the most famous shoes ever made. Classic. I have mine cause I’ve always been a Jordan fan. Through the 80s n 90s.
I agree 100%
You’d rather have Michael Jordan over Lebron James on any given basketball team? Sound like a old head kid cause that’s a straight fucking joke
Jordan 1's and dunks are hardly a "trend"... after being relevant for close to 40yrs, at this point they are timeless. They may have been a "trend" for those that try to look cool... but for us stomp down sneaker cats... they're classics
Things that are “classics” can still trend and not be trendy
@@JadonGrundy you aren't making much sense tbh.
@@badkarma8689 for example; carhartt has been a classic brand for forever. But once someone or a group of people make “workwear” the “new look” carhartt becomes a trending brand at the moment
@@JadonGrundyyeah but jordan 1s have never not been trendy. I’m in the nyc tristate area so maybe sneaker culture is just different up here
I view Yeezys as Jordan’s, they’ll never “fall off”
As brands I agree, certain products can fall as a trend tho. They are so innovative, that they’ll most certainly come back around as trends
Yeezys will forever be a must have. You can always rock em no matter what time of year tbh
Imagine taking fashion advice from a guy wearing your grandmother's fluffy turquoise cardigan?
fr blud think he made IGOR
Hating ahh 😂😂😂
@@YoungLordByakugan well I sure the f don't like it captain obvious
💀💀💀
your grandma could never
I kinda feel like supreme is turning into a streetwear ralph lauren per say. Aspirational price point. Quality garments, accesible and straight to the point. When u cop ralph u know what you are getting. same thing with supreme.
That’s a good take, never heard of it put that way
accurate analogy
Jordan’s 1 are not trends
It’s a lifestyle
wear what you like, not wearing these trends after being told they are "dead" is the complete definition of following trends lol
I absolutely agree lol
@@JadonGrundy love the content, keep creating
This I've always been the leader never follow to give u insight I was rocking the OG sbs in 05 when nobody was rocking them they all were rocking j's AF1's lebrons, an air max etc.. an i still rock them... originality an well put together fit will be ome trendy but set the TREND IS key 🎯👍🏼💪🏻🔥
I forget that outside of California Vans were legit just "trendy" for a while. Here its just built into the core of California fashion lol, everyone from skaters to Emily Oberg clones has a pair to beat around.
Facts
I’m going back to Throwback jerseys and super clean White forces.
I swear the new balance trend just came and went. Legit 2022-2023. I think that dunks take is crazy, but i agree with your take on 1s. I dont know why the 1s go so re-hyped out of nowhere to begin with.
Bass Pro Shop trucker hats!!! This trend needs to stop...
I think New Balance been killing with shoes lately
I still rock Jordan 1's and I copped a pair of the Nu Skool vans. I mainly wear them in my rotation because they fit my aesthetic. I don't knock it but I'm more into subtle pieces and not the super trendy looks. I guess you can say I'm a "traditional" streetwear kinda dude. But I agree long story short.
I wan get Nu skools lowkey but my dream is if they made them in highs
People definitely can still wear all these things. They just dead as a “trend”. Honestly trends should mean nothing to us anyway, just wear what you like!
@@JadonGrundy 1000% bruva. No offense taken either!
@@JadonGrundyI will still wear Jordan’s and sb dunks as I did back in 08. I don’t follow trends. Trends die. Style doesn’t.
@@jortega61924 well said
Hello from Oregon, home of Nike. Wow, interesting video. I'll be 50 this Christmas and I can say many trends have came and gone. I was wearing Vans back in CA in the 1980's. Have always loved Nike and have a great collection too. I will say, a summer Flip-Flop is pretty much timeless for me. As far as other brands? Maybe Convers or Berkinstocks? Other than that, your spot on. Thank you for the video.
Thank you 🙏🏾
You need to add your blue Cardigan to the list too buddy
Whether its cool or trendy or not....i don't care respectfully.....i wear what I want and love. Thats what keeps me going and happy.
Thanks for this, its the most accurate 2023 dead trend list i’ve seen. I’ve seen other list calling out samba, birks boston, and 2002r and im like “how? its still clearly worn by the fashion-forward community. Yall must not understand what dead means.”💀
Facts 😂 all of those are very much still trending 🤣
pair of black and white vans will always be a classic.
Anything rappers wear. I shop at Target.
🔥
😂 I feel that
😂
People sleep on that Goodfellow I swear!
@@michaelm3512 the graphic tees they have are dummy fire
a lot of this stuff was never tough imo (skeleton designs, basic chrome hearts pieces, balaclava) and has been burnt out for a while now.
Nah dunks and Jordan's will never die
Supreme is dead because of reselling activities, when u look at the price tag, bruh , with that money I can even get items from a “real” designer brand .
🦇 Grundy gang! Been waiting on another banger my boy 🔥
Yessirr, we back
Crazy enough…Chrome Hearts, Gallery Dept, Cuban
Links and Dunks are still popular in Miami.
Oh forsure, last time I was in Miami I definitely saw it haha. Just not a trend across the other cities like it used to be
Still popular here in Los Angeles as well
It’s popular in NYC too, Supreme pretty much died here though you don’t see the pieces reselling for large amounts of money anymore or long lines of people waiting to cop pieces
Enjoyed watching this!
Jordan 1s, dunks and vans aren’t trends. Neither are 350v2s, that’s essential footwear that works with house clothes all the way to the corporate world. Those will not fall off
I literally own nothing in this video. This let's me know I am on my own wave. Thank you for this
This popped up In. My video feed..cool video..good content my brother salute...I'm the last person to know about my fashion..whats in and what's not.. I'm 36 and still like the stuff I grew up with😅..which at the time was ecko...Rocawear...marithe gibaud jeans...Sean john...ecko is my favorite brand of all time really..outside of Supreme and jordan 1 I didn't really know half of the stuff in the video was..so it's good to learn something...
You still see these Diors pretty often over here in Munich but the Jordan 1 Hype is definitely cooling down, a lot of clean pairs are currently sitting...☝
This the best time for Jordan and Dunk fans, pairs aren’t moving as quick
@@JadonGrundy , thats true!☝
jordan 1s and vans are fashion staples at this point they can’t fall under a trend when they’ve been consistently selling and worn for decades lol
Let the trend die, then pull out as a throwback!🎉
Don’t listen to anyone wearing a baby blue shaggy vest 😂😂😂
vest is tough tbh.
Great Video! just subbed!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed
I love when styles go out of trend because that's how i dress. I create my own lane. I love when people say "people dont wear that anymore." Ill rather wear what i like.
I think these are all great points and definitely have a similar if not the same viewpoint lol. This really why I formed my own opinion on what I like and what’s cool. Cuz just about everything comes and goes
Everyone and they grannies wearing Dunks 🤣
I'm the biggest sneakerhead in my town and I didn't get a pair of 350 v2s until Spring 2023 let alone any yeezy.
Bro, essentially streetwear is dead. Even now, there isn’t any overarching trends, it’s all died down. Everyone’s just into high end fashion pieces now
Streetwear still has its core. But yea it’s not as trendy as it used to be. High end stuff is a trend, but it’s pretty un accessible for the average person, so idk I go back and forth with that thought
@@JadonGrundy My theory is it's dying because celebs like Kanye, Asap Rocky or Tyler aren't into fashion like that anymore. Ye's running around in homeless attire and Yeezy socks while asap rocky hasn't been a trendsetter in years. Also, Tyler who's credited for popularising Supreme hasn't been seen in Supreme in what seems like a decade, and none of the new musicians are really into fashion like that. That said, I only see it as a good thing because the prices aren't crazy anymore lol
Vans fell off because they used to be $40 and now they are $100 (in Canada atleast)… I think you shoulda put palace on this list, I still like the brand but it’s no where now
I still rock my Yeezys due to there comfort and same with the new Balance & Vans
This is an example how people don't think for themselves anymore.... some basically follow the narrative and cant think for themselves...they lack self identification one of the reasons marketing techniques are so successful ...if celebrities started wearing shoes from Payless shoe store all the followers would wear them ....Ima stay original and keep my individual identification
Haven’t we been saying 350 were dead since 2018 💀 but give supreme grace ? 🤣💀
Just 350s are dead, not yeezy as a whole. Supreme still makes great product, it’s just not the hype trend anymore
@@JadonGrundy great take
Supra shoes during the early 2000s was a wild trend ..
Guilty lol
Balenci had the biggest fall off them ped0s
Facts. I will wear preme hats forever. The quality is ridiculous good
Bro you must be super young. Because Vans been in style since way back. Hadn't you ever heard of The "Vans" song?!
"Got my vans in but they look like sneakers" 🎶 c'mon now.
NMDs and Ultraboosts used to be on everyone's feet. Now they are completely extinct in 2023 even with the newer models
Vintage supreme and other stuff from supreme drops is still HEAT, but the typical box logo crap is just old and overworn, not to say they dont have a piece or two in their drops is still GAS
What microphone do you use to film with?
fair video gang, been copping preme for about 7 years now. smh still to this day.
Yea this the best time for the real preme fans
You lost me when you got to the dunks and Jordan 1s. 😂
ngl bro im no really a fashion head but at least i know what not to wear this year lol great video an breakdown
Haha preciate you fam ⚡️
Don’t just not wear something because people tell you it’s dead a lot of this stuff will never truly die just not as hyped anymore witch is good because it’s more affordable
im surprised you didn’t mention Bape Hoodies too 😂
Bape hoodies were a little farther back in time in my opinion. More like 2015-2016
U buggin, I still be rocking' Jordan 1's. For life. Still rock my 350's every now and then considering they're bone color. The rest of the things on ya list I could care less about. Sweatsuits and J's for me. Trucker caps. Custom Tees.
I never said people should stop wearing these, they just aren’t the hot trend anymore. Wear what you like
350'S NEVER FAIL OFF , YZY SHOES WONT FALL OFF AT ALL CONTINUE TO DO YOU MAN..
sounded sick in this my guy lol
Vans won’t ever fall off. They are classics.
I still wear V2s, only cuz of how comfortable they are, plus my triple black is just a great beater. I think Yeezy's are now beaters.
Forsure should still wear them if you genuinely enjoy them 💯
Yeezys are still dope imo
J1s are timeless
Ngl anyone that is or I see wearing these things/ brands in 2023 are the real ones that always wore it cause they liked how it looked on them or they felt comfortable in it.
Jordan 1;s are timeless
Jordan 1s and dunks became a trend to certain folks, but to a lot of us, Jordans and dunks were never a trend…it’s just what we have rocked for years…and still will
I mean yea, that honestly could go for anything on the list other than brand new products
You literally had barely any followers when I followed you bruh, good job.
Supreme is still lit imo.. they still push numbers on certain items.
New Balance wave was always a no go for me 😂
Yeezy 350.. sad to see them come to an end :/
Well to be fair, most of these brands and items still do numbers or else they wouldn’t be on the shelf lol
@@JadonGrundy cant argue with that valid point
bootleg fashion peaked hard but I've been on bootleg fashion since i was lil since swapmeets always had some crazy things going on. Kinda funny to see it get gentrified and tossed out it's like when champion become cool in 2016 went from walmart brand to everyone wanting it.
You mean like the stacked jeans that are between bootleg and bell bottoms?
I wouldn’t say the 350, but I will say you missed the Mcqueens
LRG made the best skeleton hoodie a decade ago I never was into it.
I got into supreme in 2018 so I was into it after the hype I guess I never heard of it really before that tho
that b23 shoe looks it would ruin my feet, I thought about buying it and then caught and smacked myself for almost being a hype beast
Forgot the Bass Pro shop hats. Tons of kids and hipsters wearing them….many of whom have never held a fishing pole
Trends come and go people. Buy what you like and take good care of it. When the trend comes back around you may be able to resell it for extra money.
I still rock my 1s, and 350s 🤷🏾♂️ good video sir
As you should
Good video although in my 20+ years I’ve seen a few of these things come in and out of favor
4:51 vans are still popular, just not as how it was before
Maaaaaan, while this is sociologically important, good items and good style is in the vision of the person wearing it. People following trends are just reactive robots. I don't personally wanna learn how to be a uniform ass robot. People who break trends are usually people who make decisions and break the mold because they have a vision. Picking which one you gonna be is key to your own future.
Kinda happy that dunks fell off this year because I never really liked them.
I'll still be wearing Jordan 1 Highs tho
Can you make a similar video of tends that are currently on the come up ?
I still see a lot of people wearing Dunks, Jordan 1s, and Vans.
Totally agree with you 👍👏🙏🇬🇧
supreme is dead for people who never skated but liked hype, ngl this season was pretty rough but there were still diamonds in the rough for me, ill always buy what i like, sometimes trends screw me over, now its easier for me to get what i want haha
Facts, I agree 💯
what is that song at the end
Bruh got om a bathroom rug talking about fashion GTFOH😂
Jordan 1s are like Chuck Taylors, they will never fall off😅.
Yo auntie wants her sweater back!
Chrome heart trucker a classic ❤
Jordan 1’s will never die
Dunks are still selling out pandas and are still top selling shoe in 2023. Jordan 1s and vans old skool are classics that never die. They just aren't reselling for crazy. AJ1 still sell out just not instantly and resell for triple like before. But all 3 shoes will be out in full force this summer and fall. Saying these shoes arent trendy is like saying Air force 1 or Samba have no hype lol.
People wear them because they bought them when they were a trend. They died as the hype trendy thing to buy. They aren’t dead as a whole, just as a trend
I'll stick to my polo sport tees and Levi's and a fresh pair of airmax.
I definitely agree with the dunks….everybody & they mom got the panda dunks but as far as Jordan 1s that’s probably the only I would wear besides 4s
npc lookin ahh the 11s and 12s ar way more comfortable and better materials. The 11s are known to be the BEST ever made for Jordan brand the 4s are pathetic
@@post7027 he’s talking in terms of current style, not comfort and materials
@@JadonGrundy the space jam 11s and concords look better than any 1s or 4s except the off white and military 4s he's probably 12 no one can afford the concords or space jams just because nike doesn't make or push out a shoe doesn't mean it is out of style. Anyone wearing the concords gets more eyes and turned heads
When I’m spending my money I’m going to wear what I want 😂
Wear what you want! Who cares! I had a dude tell me the other day that Gucci was out of style, SMH. He had on New Balances! LMAO. People kill me.
I agree, just stating trends in this video. If you dress based on trends, you’ve probably lost anyway lol
The ripped straight leg skinny jeans are played out. I’m the only one in my city wearing the baggy style that’s in now everyone else still wearing the biker jeans like it’s still 2018. I’m surprised they’re still a thing
I feel like fast fashion like shien will fall off hard soon if it hasnt already. I never have seen someone wear shien stuff. Yet i see fast fashion all over social media.
Jordan 1s tho 🥴. Unless you talking about mids or lows, they still pretty popular around here.
Social media is destroying fashion honestly
I think it’s a double edged sword. Because fashion wouldn’t be as vast and as accessible if there was no social media
@@JadonGrundy thats the problem, the vastness and accessibility. People are all just looking the same or going on pintrest, ig or whatever and just copying and pasting a style. I liked when you actually had to have style and things felt more unique because you didn’t see 1000 clones on the internet
Vans will always be in my shoes collection..
