Not that it matters anymore, but there was a pretty famous rave DJ who DJ'd and also produced dance music on Caffeine Records out of Long Island, New York in the 90's-2000's named Micro. He's on about 200 old rave flyers that I still have in my old collection. I also have a few of his releases on vinyl. I actually thought that's who this was when I saw the title. Either way, it's all good. Definitely happy that your label is still pushing the boundaries of dance music. BTW, Deefo absolutely POUNDS. That new release on DB is DOPE!! He has quite an original sound.
@@frankclementi I'd heard a little bit about that, but only cuz I worked at Syntax distribution in Manhattan (at that time.) Then eventually I worked at Satellite (the OG Manhattan one,) So I know Sameer, (through Joeski,) John Trep, Buddy, and some of the other dudes that were around at that time. I've actually been to Caffeine/Voodoo a few times. Partied in that bus outside (of course.) A couple of larger parties out in Long Island also, that were all dope. I DJ'd a couple of times for Smoove Groove when they were doing events in LI a few years after that. But I've only actually talked to Micro a few times here n there about tracks/releases/music industry type of stuff.
I need the track ID of the "give em hell" track. One that said, " I tried to listen to my haters but I don't speak Little Bitch" about the 16 min mark.

DJ Micro is an absolute legend. 2.0 on moonshine records CD is timeless.
I did not hear anything that resembled the oldskool Micro.
