the engine is broken when everything is above 60fps it becomes sped up, to fix it use mods like "High FPS Physics Fix" and "Buffout 4"
but that mods on Gamepass version nothing, dont you?

That 50 fps in 8k isn't as smooth as 50fps should be. It looks something like 20 -24fps

Curious how this will test after the update on the 25th since it's supposed to improve various things. I'm also curious how performance is in the VR version of Fallout 4 with this CPU/GPU combo since I'd like to build a VR PC and the AMD CPU seems to be the best bet due to the 3D V-Cache design. Any chance you have a VR headset and a copy of Fallout 4 VR?
The 7800X3D is keeping that 4090 fed at 99%. I came across two smoking deals on the 7800X3D so I have them with only a 6900XT and 6950XT. The 6950XT consumes as much power as that 4090 but at a fraction of the FPS muscle.

The 4090 is tanking HARD at 8K because of insufficient memory bandwidth. You can see it's limited by the shader cores at 4K, but it's completely limited by memory bandwidth at 8K.
Wow, a decent framerate with shadow distance set to ultra.
8k is a silly resolution but you would probably get a few more frames by reducing shadow distance and god ray quality. Of course the resolution is irrelevant when there is another settlement that needs your help.

200 fps+ at 4k even though Fo4 is few years old now, its poorly optimized game. Rtx 4090 is a beast. 7800x3d is pretty good CPU and actually handles 4090.

@@UltraTempo_ Because doing a before/after comparison is mych more logical than this, esprcially with uncapped FPS when it's sidely known that removing VSync breaks Bethesda games because physics are tied to the framerate. That's why everything is so sped up in the video: rverything is playing at 3 or 4 times the normal speed...

Spoiler: 4090 will not normally drive the game with a Weapon Debris, even at an medium set... a weak graphics card.
Just as a PSA: never run this game at above 60 fps. It will ruin the physics and glitch the hell out.
LMAO, playing with uncapped FPS on Fallout 4 is a recipe for disaster and causes all sorts of issues some of which are extremely visible in the video (animations playing too fast, wonky collisions, etc....).
There is a mod for that.

2:01 10 year later, RTX4090 and still runs like shite.
The game needs optimization, which they never did, not to mention the game engine sucks, it still has bugs that won't get fixed until they build a new engine from scratch, and we know that's not going to happen because they have been using the same engine since Elder Scrolls III.
Yeah people need to stop expecting too much if the software isn't well being made then who says that a gpu let alone a the strongest gpu will do good?

to be very honest i was about to install fallout 4 to test this setup 4090 with 7800x3d , now that i see this im not doing it , it is amazing how bad optimized this game is very desapointed.
