If you're interested they are the Christmas Valley Sand Dunes. I'm having a big driving day today so I'm fully nutrified thanks to AG1 but it's time to get back on the road 🤩
I love seeing how happy Frank is on your adventures. I worry about a lot of things, but Frank's care is not one of them. I know he's with his soulmate. 💚
Frank looks so handsome in his new coat. I could listen to him crunch on that snow all day. Wow, The Sandune area was so awesome. What a sunset and that night sky was epic. How freaking amazing that you had it all to yourself. It looked like a dream. That last camp spot was super sweet. What views. Your smile in this video just made my evening.
Frank seems to be getting older and older each time I see him. No matter what happens he has had the very bes life you could hve ever given him and he loves you so much.
I feel it is just his arthritic feet that are affecting his speed and stance. His joy, spirit, vivid eyes, constant connection with mum, and desire to see all things is still spot on. The pain with dealing with arth. changes within joints and 'splaying' of feet has him sleeping more and may have some meds that do that too. Hope they get to heat soon so his arthritis gets a break.
I wonder if a cart on 4 wheels would help relieve the weight and pressure on his legs and feet, where he can still walk and move himself around but he will have wheels and a harness to keep him upright. Just a thought
*16:48** annnd mic drop stage exit right* ! *21:19** just wow.... perfect stealth colour/color & Truck is matte painted too* Just oh my gerd Amanda you captured something so special with wee birdie😃👌
Hey Amanda, what an awesome video and that was awesome that that police officer was making sure you were OK and you were not in trouble and he was watching out for you. That is awesome. Thank you Amanda and Frank for taking us to the most amazing places that some of us would never get to see you guys are so amazing. So much fun and what a treat to get a video from you guys in the middle of the week WOW you guys be safe out there. Stay warm and have fun.🇺🇸♥️🙂🙏👍🐾🏔️🚐🇨🇦
The coat is good for if its raining will help keep him dry. As they get older the cold is harder on their joints. So hopeful it helps him. Maybe try some joint support treats ? I know its winter but i heard bears are not hibernate like they used to. So keep your bear spray on ya. Helps with big cats. Wild anything and creepy men
I love how you know Frank so well and you pay attention to every detail of how he is doing. It's nice to see him so playful. You can tell he is happy and he loves being with you.
LOVE to you and special hugs for Frank Hope he's not in pain with his back legs Got to laugh whether its the beach / river or snow he just loves his WATER ! ❤️ 😊
Loving all the new scenery. I'm no longer able to do the travelling myself so it's great to see all the different places on your videos. Especially love the drone footage. X
I've been watching you since way back when you had practically nothing and look at you now 👀😊 All the things you've learned and done since then is amazing. And I love the remodel you did to Truck, so nice! 😍
I really enjoy all your videos Amanda. Your actually my favorite UA-cam creator (how cliche right🤪). Finding a dime like you did is really cool, it’s a thing. It’s supposed to be a sign or a message. I save all the dimes I find in a jar. Once you recognize this phenomenon you’ll start finding more. It’s kind of fun 😊. There is more if you look it up. Some sites say religious but I prefer a more spiritual connection. Enjoy your travels. I just moved from California to live right outside Portland and love this state and all its nature.
Frank will never be thirsty as long as there's snow to eat. And you would know if he needed a coat, and he probably didn't, but that was so cute of you to get him one.
The sand dunes were beautifully silent! So wonderful to get really, deeply in touch with oneself. Amazing experience for you and Frank. Thanks for sharing!
Frank looked so cosy in his coat! ❤ I agree... the trees are sublime in these ecosystems. We are in Southern CA, so I am familiar with the silence of these places.... and I have to say for me, birdsong and the rustle of leaves in a breeze, with a bit of dappled shade is more my cup-of-tea... add a bubbling brook, a meadow with wildflowers, some large oak trees: heaven. My dreaming aside, I am still enjoying your adventures; and as always, your attention to detail and appreciation of all that you see in nature is always lovely. 😊 ... I wonder what the tracks were that you showed us near the end... Oh! the sky/stars... beautiful!!
If you need any assistance, auto wise, give Casey LaDelle, Cascade Towing a call, he is near Bend, Ore. He helps out a lot of folks that get stuck out in the boonies for free.
I agree that hitting the road is the most awesome feeling. The drone footage was perfection! A place like the dunes you visited is like visiting the moon, right? The silence. Some people consider locations like that to be desolate. I appreciate that you share the life/lives that grow there. Even the beautiful dead trees you shared support so many other lives.
I never really thought of it until now but it seems desolate is generally used as a negative term but I have no problem with barren places. They are good for the writers mind in my opinion.
The sand dunes were great. You are seeing some great places on your adventure. I love that Frank wanted to stay outside in his new coat. That was very fun.
I'm very glad the cop didn't hurt you or make you move and that you were able to stay in your spot and rest. It's so nice to see you and Frank both looking so joyful interacting with the land! It seems to do you both good. And wow! I have never seen frozen sand dunes before! They are gorgeous. It looks like you're on the moon! Thanks for sharing and wish you the best.
Hoorah, for USA cops! Sounds like you met a nice one. That feeling of having your heart fall when you think you’re in trouble for something is the worst. I’m glad you had a good experience.
Glad to hear you didn’t run out of gas(I watched your shorts video)…I should have known better cause you so aware of your surroundings but one can’t help worrying about the two wonderful beings you are. Love Franks new coat and the deafness of the dunes…wow! Look forward to your adventures every week. 🙋♀️🤙👌
He’s a Canadian dog, so a coat is a necessity some days. Nice that he now has an option. They can’t talk, so can’t just assume they don’t “need” or appreciate an extra layer of protection apart from their own fur. It’s just a good thing to give all the luv & care u can give them while they’re in our care. A little extra luv & care never hurt anyone or anything, right👍🙏👍
You are just amazing! You make the best of every situation. A good example for all of us. And your filming is fantastic! Thank you for taking us along. Kisses to Frank!
Your very lucky to be able to enjoy such beautiful countryside. Those trees are majestic & to have just a light dusting of snow is wonderful. Take care, keep up that walking and enjoying the fresh air, it is so good for the sole. Elaine from Queensland,Australia.
Agree... our girl Amanda is a true cinematographer and sees/feels beyond what all so many others do not. I know her TidelinetoAlpine Ambience channel deserves thousands of followers. I can hardly wait for all upcoming new video shares here and the newer channel.
😍💖Eeee dapperist doggo e.v.e.r. as we ALL know !! Get allll the snow n' sticks Frankee...livin' his best life as Amanda's co-pilot/supervisor. Having lived in OZ (hence my addiction to Frank, hehe) I was around his breed a lot to then learn about their special coat. So 'I' knew never to bug you about, but that is such a luvly jacket. Gonna worry about ya the whole time ur down there (uhm esp. when ya say you are going to wild part of Nevada). So glad was no issue with getting checked on. Hellllo drone shots girl.
Enjoyed today's video so much. It was nice seeing the Dunes deserted and quiet. Thank you for taking us along. P.S. Have been enjoying the shorts you've been posting.
Here I am. Such pretty scenery. God made his world with so much Beauty. Thank you for sharing your adventures. Love Frank and his continuous quest for sticks! Keeping my Bible 📖 on the table, and the Flag 🇺🇸 upon the wall Prayers for safe travels 🌺
Thanks for taking us on your Oregon High Desert adventure. Love that area although we have only been there once or twice (live in WA state, health issues have popped up, hope to visit again someday). Your photography is beautiful and your drone skills are so good. I'm living vicariously through your vids. Thanks for sharing!!!! Love to see you feeling better.
I saw the highways sign that said. Burns 64 miles, I know right where your at, I lived in Burns at one time. We rode horses out at Wrights Point, beautiful country. Enjoy your travels here on the states.
Hi Amanda 👋 I think I did tell you a couple of videos ago that I am new to your channel. Anyway Frank is is such a good dog/companion. The things you highlight in your content inspired me to send you a donation via PayPal. The least I could do for all the great content you put out for us on UA-cam 😉👍👍
Your sand dune drone footage is so beautiful! I appreciate you satisfying your curiosity. When I lived in my car, I made a point of having days where I just followed "the brown signs" (national monuments, lands etc) and was never disappointed.

I wish I could zap Frank back into puppy hood all over again. He's the kind of dog you want to keep forever. ❤️
Shock collars are terrible! Never do that
Frank perching in the driving seat! Omg...in his coat! He’s the best, and most stylish! ❤❤
We found his carhartt coat in the van the other day 😆 I wanna get him a little cowboy hat to go with it, I think that would be adorable for the south.
@@tidelinetoalpine yes! Frank as a western dude, he’s got the mystic vibe for sure. I hope you find that! Lol 💚💜💚💜
Here's a little gas money. love your videos and it's great to see you smile.
Thank you! I hope you’re having a great day 😃

I hadn't said anything before about wondering why he didn't have a winter coat, but seeing Frank in one really made my day!
I'm very glad the cop didn't hurt you or make you move and that you were able to stay in your spot and rest. It's so nice to see you and Frank both looking so joyful interacting with the land! Frank is adorable in his new red frock. Ok…he’s just adorable period.
And you’re adorable too btw. Totally agree with your love of the “standing skeletons”…owls and other birds love them, too.

Wow! I never had wondered why you painted your van green but I now realize it's super stealth. So stealth it was even hard for you to find :))
Gorgeous sunset all to yourself. I love the Sand Dunes as well. Excellent filming. Be safe✌
I so enjoyed this episode! Fantastic filming, absolutely fabulous content. Seeing you both enjoying your road trip made me smile.

That was fun. I have not made it to Oregon yet. I love that there aren't many people. Safe travels.
That was so funny seeing him eat snow...never seen a dog do that be4.
Dogs are the best. Including Frank. I laughed when he tried to roll in the snow and found it’s frozen hard on top. He said “this snow is defective.”

The sound of your pants during the overhead shots in the dunes was perfect. Frank is so adorable as always. Thank you
Wow Frank’s paws are splaying out so much. I’m glad you are on top of his pain meds.
Your sand dune drone footage is so beautiful! I appreciate you satisfying your curiosity. When I lived in my car, I made a point of having days where I just followed "the brown signs" (national monuments, lands etc) and was never disappointed.
Aww Frank is such a handsome lad! He adores his adventures with you!
Awesome journey beautiful and amazing views love Frank jacket much love and blessings
Such a fun video! I love seeing both of you so happy. Frank may not need a jacket but he looks super handsome in it.
Wow you found a place I have never been to and I have lived in Oregon my whole life. Definitely need to get out there and check it out
