We don't want to hear about easy fixes or what not. People are spending 20 to 30K for a sled and these issues have been going on year after year and it's old. They need to get their shit together.

I'm actually pretty happy about them, because at least they are proactive about it and they are not pretending it's not an issue and letting people pay for them.
Bought a 22 pro 850 and 22 Khaos. Fuel tank fire hazard Handlebar hooks Clutches Brake heating issue. Pretty ridiculous after dropping 45k on a power sport

Two winters straight im sitting on a stop ride recall waiting for parts while all the new sleds roll out the door. 2022 my snowcheck was delayed to the point I had to find another sled. Hasn’t been the best experience for me yet with Polaris.
Can't understand how Polaris is such a good handling sled but, if im burning warranty time and can't ride it, I might as well ride a skidoo with there weird lay down post. Also heard they are replacing the bolt on the p22. Not sure if you mentioned that.
My dealer explained to me that the weights were worn and recommended they be replaced and told me that this was a wear item and wasn’t covered under my warranty. The way Bruce explained it sounds like it should have been covered. Which is true? Worn weights covered during this recall or not? Thanks guys, awesome stuff.
Weights are a wear item. Would have to be a factroy defect for them to be covered which is few and far between. Bruce was just saying that they COULD be covered but id assume most are not, Thanks for following along!

I have a vr1 boost. Did the fuel line recall. However I have an oil leak when parked. Quite a bit of oil actually. Not sure if I can ride it? Parts are on back order till February.
I have the oil leak on my boost. Took it in for a preseason and recall today and they said parts to repair the oil leak are back ordered until end of January. Hope this isn’t the case.
@@JESSEJAMES322 sadly it was a parts issues and Polaris was super slow at allocating parts to dealers, I have one of the best dealers around and they couldn't get parts. Polaris really does need to do better here.
I’m actually picking up my RMK/9R today! I was part of the collective stop sale until my clutch recall was addressed. Thanks to you and Bruce to explain a little more of why and what was replaced by Polaris. Now we just need some snow in the Rockies
Leave it at the dealer.. get a BRP.. and actually ride the sled and not spend the winter sitting at home waiting for sled to be fixed at the dealer when the 2nd or 3rd round of recalls come. It’s pathetic.

@@pajamatime5750 In 2001. Brand new at the time. I've been riding new sleds since 1997. That was an Mxz 583. Another primer start, piece of junk I got rid of quick. Only sled I never could break was a Yamaha. We sno crossed sleds in Maine before it was a sport.

@@JESSEJAMES322 I’m SLP , I run a 700 Liberty Performance Edition Motor , bored carbs , the whole catalog , 2004 switchback , 2005 RMK motor to replace my seized motor , backwards cooling system from 2004 , had my Polaris shop confused ! I was too ? SLP says 151 hp , Rich Daily on the phone says maybe 9 hp tops , that would be 137 hp , but goes like like Mad ! I’m Happy , even though I have brand new sled money into a 2004 , I’m a U.P. trail rider , no powder , unless it’s have a smoke time ! Meet you on top the power line
Respectfully, the minimization of these issues in your video is not appreciated. While it is true that Polaris has come up with “Fixes” for these issues, I along with countless other customers continue to wait for parts availability to repair both my ‘22 boost and ‘23 9R. All while Polaris proudly posted about shipping all new ‘24’s. Shows me how much they value their existing customers. These quality control issues and ongoing frustration with endless and indeterminate waiting times for repairs led me to do something I never imagined….bought a doo, first non-Polaris I’ve purchased in 30 years and frankly I don’t plan to go back
Been a rough couple of years for Poo, they need to do better and test thing more before releasing. The season is already short enough don't need this. Luckily I got mine fixed quickly and even got a refund on the fuel I burnt heading back to the dealership. My time is money so i fought hard to bring that point accross
I’m currently waiting on parts. My dealer says they are back ordered. How are they able to sell these new machines with the updated clutch before they make it right with the people that have already purchased their product? Seems wrong! Called customer service and they said parts should be available. Dealer says parts are back ordered… who’s lying? This is like my 5th recall. Getting a little ridiculous. They are all “stop rides” so technically I can’t ride my sled. But continue seeing all these people picking up their new sleds. 😤
thats the dealers decision. If they are selling new sleds with the updated parts then they are lying and parts are available. I know Bruce has piles of new clucthes and ive seen them do about 20 replacements already and they are able to get parts soooo
@@JESSEJAMES322definitely not true, I work at a dealer in WNY. Polaris has only sent us recall parts for sleds in our inventory that are affected. Every time we go to order the part the Polaris site tells us “currently unavailable please check back in a week”
Don't get me wrong I love Polaris snowmobiles but owning one is like owning a chevy. They constantly need things fixed and the factory quality sucks. Out of three brand new sleds I had to always go through them and re-clutch, and adjust and fix all kinds of things to get the thing running smooth and tight like rejetting and everything on the carbureted sleds. Out of the box quality is terrible. Maybe I just had bad luck

they also havent come out with anything new in 11 years (not exact jusy throwing that out there). with innovation comes learning curves. Arcticcat comes out with a new model finally and boom recall. thats the way I see It.
It's all about sending them out the door. Then they make the dealer repair the problem. It's been like that for years at polaris. If your the guy that buys a new sled every couple years then you don't care. If your the guy that rides it until it's beyond repair then stay away
no no that is not what we said. Clutches get changed free of charge. Bruce said if we are in there and some of the compenents that is getting switched over (ramps and springs) are damaged they will be changed under warranty if your sled is under warranty. Clutch replacement is covered
@@JESSEJAMES322After reading most of the comments posted. A lot of people have shared their opinions and it's not good 😐. The only Polaris product I still own is 2009 victory vision (overall, Poo did their homework and tested this). Otherwise, I have left Polaris and no regrets.

My 2020 xc 850 ring gear broke and took out engine case mount and was last day under warranty so new engine. really lucked out on this

Waiting on replacement clutches in Central NY. My dealer has seen very few clutches come in from Polaris for the fix.
Unfortunately if your dealer was not very proactive and order clutches right away It seems they’re back ordered now until February

does not. model year 22-24 but can call your dealer to see if there are any open recalls
Does this include the 2024 model year? It was listed on the mailed recall letter

My 20 XCR is clear I lost half of last season with the fuel pump problem
Unfortunately that is a dealer issue. Bruce at southside did 300+ sleds Last year. Most were done while the customer waited. Sorry to hear that

I like the Magnum Force weights , up or down RPM’s in two minutes , weights are all dead accurate ,

Have your brand new clutch balanced ! It’s slightly off I bet ? Within tolerances , not perfect
all clutches are slightly off. reccomend Patrick Custom Carbon for balancing

Why I also bought a Ski-Doo as a backup sled in case my 24 Boost ends up stuck at the dealer.
