Will this "scare kite" work?

We are trying something new. Last year we had a terrible time with hawks; they were taking almost one chicken a day! We really want to keep using the eggmobile for our laying hens so we can get those great pastured eggs. A neighboring farm said these "scare kites" worked great for them, so we will see.

I hope your scare kite works. So funny watching you trying to catch the two chickens. It took Jase coming out to get them. Snowing here-
