So Patch 1.3 for F1 24 changed not just the handling, but the gear ratios as well, subtly changing how gear shifts sound. Another comparison is coming.
EDIT: So upon closer inspection, the sound changes from Patch 1.3 are much more minor that I first thought. As such, a new comparison is not really needed.

The engines in the new game rev way too high. The sounds are way too high pitched.

Actually they have a rev limit of 15,000 rpm not 13-14 thousand

​@@natecondy4125 yes they have a limit of 15,000 rpm but teams lower it to about 12,000 rpm for fuel,and reliability purposes

@@natecondy4125 Yeah but like they only rev to 12,000 in f1 24, in which 12,000 rpm from last time I checked does not sound like it does in f1 24. It sounds like it revs way too high.

F1 23 everyone sounded like Mercedes (except Renault, it sounded like Yamaha) but in F1 24 NOBODY sounds like Mercedes, LMAO.

I'll be honest, the 2018-20-22-23 generation were my favorites. And currently 24 has also become one of my favorites because of the Mercedes and Renault engine.

2020 Ferrari is a bad comparison in my opinion, the Ferrari from the latter half of 2020 sounded a lot more like the Codemasters version

My thoughts exactly. A lot of the 2020 ferrari onboards I found at the time I remade the video file were not great. The second half of the 2020 IRL sound is taken from an Alfa Romeo onboard. The 2016 IRL is taken from the Haas.

Aftee F1 2020, the developers have lost the correct way to create a good F1 game
