You gave one of the best tips in lowering the difficulty. If anyone selects a full length race and a difficulty where tvey can consistently keep up followin any other rider even if it’s at the last positions, you’ll learn the most, because you are really learning to be smooth and you learn where your strong and weak points are and you can adjust. Then you’ll notice you have learned some corners really well and feel confident about how to go about it, and on the next race you’ll find a corner where you can use the same technique and just like that you are learning to master the skills you need to be fast. It’s especially important if you play from the helmet view like i do, because you can’t see the optimal line from that low of an angle like you can from the helocopter 3rd person viewpoint.
9:12 For sure knowing MotoGP will help with car racing games. And the fun thing is MotoGP games work so great with the controller thumbstick, you can learn about racing without an expensive racing wheel, or while you are saving for one❤
Be sure to START with ECU power maping at max (3) and lower it after few turns to save fuel. I previously thought I should start at 2 and hit max power mapping for few last rounds but right after start i become up last every time, switched to 3 and sudenly I could even overtake before the first turn.
This video is fantastic for people like myself that aregetting into MotoGP games, also the reason why looking into the apex of a corner and then through to the end is due to something called target fixation, on a real bike where you look is where you go so the same applies for the most part :) Happy riding :>
5:41 thats exactly like real life. that's my favorite corner ever! That blind entry that you need to choose speed and lean before enter and then when you are in the corner you now if you are too fast (going wide) or needs to apply gas.
This shits kinda hard or im just really bad lol. Rookie is like hela training wheels with crazy auto pilot and the next level up i cant turn without falling or going way off track
Quick tip for anyone who’s coming from past games off MotoGP turn off neural aid I had it set to 70% to get used to the game and couldn’t keep up switched off neural aids and gained seconds on my lap times
I think the real problem is motorcycle games deserve their own peripheral. Some kind of lean based controller. I’m playing this game in vr and find a thumb stick kinda wonky. I’ve gotten used to it but I’m thinking of switching the triggers to behave as the analog stick.
In a corner if you start to drift wide you can tap the rear brake to get you to fall back into the inside… you can drag the front brake to keep you hugging the inside
Brother, i've been using your setup for 22 as well as 23, and it is fantastic to ride but in motogp 22 my rear fish tails and loses traction in the corners once in a while and if it does, it takes me out of the track or slides, i have been facing this problem for a long time and now it happens in GP23 also, no one helped please reply, Thank You 🙏🏻
That can sometimes be rectified with reducing traction control so if you overdo it with throttle you get wheelspin instead of a fishtail. Although it depends on where in the corner it happens. Are you accelerating or decelerating when it happens?
@@ATribeCalledCars i have been keeping my tcs at 5 and when you approach a corner and you brake and then leave the brake to give the throttle and that dead time i happens like the rear is wobbling in the mid corner and if you give full throttle it slides or if you leave the throttle it automatically wobbles wobbles and then it crashes it doesn't happen everytime but once in a while and once it happens it remains for a long time. Please help 🙏🏻
@@ATribeCalledCars i would tell that this problem is unusual and no one cleared this unfortunately, but i tried everything like tcs to 3 or 4 but still it happens 😔

@@michaelstrydom6713its probably your gas acceleration button malfunctioning, I run aw 1 with max acceleration in 1 2 3 gear and my wheel never lifts except when I'm in a hurry
Ah yeah, it's tough. I sometimes increased traction etc to combat reduced grip but ultimately it's all about learning to brake even sooner and be even more delicate with steering. Not sure there is much else to suggest.
I just deleted this game. It's not for everybody, or beginners. I tried too long to figure out how to just do a practice lap and can not turn 1 corner without crashing. It's totally unplayable for the inexperienced. It's a shame because I wish I can utilize this game, just tired of disappointing my self. Go too fast you crash, go to slow you fall, brake too late you crash. This game is only for professional esport players with years of experience. If your'e not a Sim racer, this game will make you wish you never bought it. It sucks when its almost impossible to learn how to just ride the bike, let alone race.
not sure if this applies to everyone but this is my 3rd reinstall and the game feels more fun for me, I am alot more consistent as well. But take a break then try playing it again when u feel like it. Practice is essentially yes but useless when ur beyond annoyed.👍 from the guy who broke his controller 😂
nah it is just too much micromanaging it is not fun at all.. break too hard -crash, accelerate to much - crash, bad line - crash, touch the line -invalid lap, do everything perfect -the AI will crash in to you. make a clean lap after 100 attempts -too slow

Definitely difficult, I always find you have to break so early it's totally unnatural and steering takes a gentle touch. It does get easier I promise!
how to turn on combine brake setting?
