There is one place where it's the opposite, Hollywood. In Hollywood if you want to grow your career you must cave to the left. Those that do are given the opportunity to succeed, those that don't watch their opportunities dry up. Look at people like Howard Stem, Scott Baio, and Kevin Sorbo, Howard had the most controversial career of them all, but he bowed to the left so he was forgiven. The other two have become irrelevant. Or if you want a better example, Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla. Both had the same background, Jimmy caved and is celebrated, Adam didn't and is working on the fringes of Hollywood.

I agree, I really respected him and enjoyed so many of his interviews before that. But there is no way to look past that. It's incredibly vain, unethical and disgusting to pay for a human life to be manufactured like that and to intentionally not have a mother. It's one thing if someone already has a kid and they make the best of it. Any two parents are better than one parent. But to intentionally create a human life into a situation like that, using one's own DNA just for one's own vanity, is just completely unethical and disgusting. He should have adopted kids with his partner if it was really about wanting to have kids together. I don't even understand why he would want to be in an unequal situation with his partner in the first place, where the kid has his DNA and looks like him but not his partner. He may not be a leftist anymore, but he's still a nutjob in his own way.
