Come along with Hickory Flat Boars as Josh gets over 60 kills using his thermal optics.

Hog hunting compilation. We combat the growing feral hog population almost each and every night. These hogs are tearing up farm and ranch land everywhere and we are tasked with helping the farmers and ranchers try to reclaim their land. The hogs make it virtually impossible for some of these people to grow crops such as corn, wheat and oats in certain areas. As soon as the crop is put in the ground the hogs destroy it. Farming and ranching is what these people depend on to feed their families which is one reason we do this. This is not your typical hunting. This is eradicating a problem animal from problem areas.

I have seen a bunch of these videos, yours and others like you guys trying to eradicate these pests. I'll bet its a hell of a lot harder then it looks to hit something couple feet off the ground moving at 20 mph, 150 yards off AND in the dark. Looks like a blast! Question -- do you think all you guys doing this are getting the hogs under control or are the hogs out of control? What is the best way to get rid of them?

It sure isn’t all that easy.
We have noticed a slight decrease in the pig population in the areas we hunt.
You can’t really ever let up on them. If you do then sometimes it doesn’t seem like you’ve done anything to their numbers.
This is one of the most effective ways with even trying to control their numbers.

What do you do with so many killings in a single go. I have been into hunting till it was banned in India.
Do they sell at the beacon factory.

We use to sell them when we had a place that would buy them. They no longer buy them. So now we do it strictly for nuisance control. We give as much of it away as we have people will take. The rest feeds the wildlife.

It doesn’t matter how good of a shot you are with these pigs. Sometimes they don’t die right away no matter how good you hit them. If you are trying to say we let the animals suffer then you need to take that stuff elsewhere.
