In atheism the question is the answer. I must believe in God

The soul weighs 21 grams as weighed on death beds during the plague of tuberculosis. A doctor did the experiments. Now we should consider taking medication religiously for best placebo results!

Ah, the old "21 grams" claim! It's a fun urban legend, but let’s set the record straight. The idea comes from early 20th-century experiments by Dr. Duncan MacDougall, who weighed six tuberculosis patients at the moment of death. His methods were… well, far from scientific. Sample size? Six people. Equipment? A crude scale. Controls? Basically non-existent. Replications? None, because it’s pseudoscience.
Let’s not forget the obvious: changes in weight after death are more likely due to natural processes like air leaving the lungs or fluid shifts, not some magical, floating "soul."
As for the placebo effect and medication, taking meds “religiously” doesn’t enhance placebo effects. Placebos are about belief and expectation, not rituals. So, if you need medicine, take it because it works-not because you think the soul is going to clock out at 21 grams lighter!
Let’s keep our science rigorous and our souls unmeasured, yeah?
