The Gigantes Islands are so amazing and I think it is one of the best destinations in the Philippines. But, hopefully the LGU will try to regulate the tour companies operating in the area. Because with their current ways, tourists especially foreign will hesitate to go back. Gigantes Islands is supposedly a destination that you will want to visit multiple times in your life, but they need changes. Customer satisfaction before anything else, especially in tourism.
I think para di magcrowded ang islands kung masyado magtagal ang mga tao sa island. Kaya need lumipat2, para may equal time mag enjoy ang lahat. Mas ok din umuwi ng maaga since you'll never know what will happen sa open sea incl. sudden rain or strong wind. Mas delikado kapag pagabi na.
Yea might be but the fix for this is, why not start the tour earlier? Like in Coron, Zambales, Hundred Islands... Tours usually go out 7am-730am, so people will have more time per island. Cause it's really not enough time, specially if there are other groups on the island. Minsan kakababa pa lang ng matanda akyat na agad ng bangka 😢
The islands of Concepcion or Ajuy are also beautiful especially those near the Pan de Azucar. Southern Iloilo also has a couple of gems like Miag-ao Church and Garin Farm.
I will release my adventures in the southern part of Iloilo next week. I was so stunned by how beautiful the churches are. And thank you about the islands that you mentioned, I have something to look forward to on my next iloilo adventures. God bless you
