That amount of time is different for everyone, it’s genetic, and can’t be changed. I’ve seen different opinions on what the average terminal length is but some articles say it could be as short as 3 years. Hey Anna! Absolutely love your videos! I was wondering if you could do a video on oily hair? I have the most oily hair on the planet. I wash my hair every 4 days and after about 48-72 hours it looks and smells absolutely disgusting. I take all of your advice. I use no sulfates, silicones, specific alcohols, I exfoliate my scalp every wash, everything. I have had the same routine for over a year now. I understand that it’s bad to wash my hair everyday but it’s so oily I feel like I should. It’s very frustrating and my mom gets very angry with me when I leave my hair oily and nasty. Wondering if I could get some help with this. Also, I’ve heard good things about using the Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Mask on hair. How do you feel about this? Thanks! P.S. I have blonde hair, overall pretty straight, probably 1b, and its thin(my hair fell out because of a hormone imbalance), and to my waist.
You may have to wash your hair more often in that case. In many cases people can train their hair to go longer without washes, but it isn’t one size fits all and some just have to wash every 2-3 days

My issue is that I get so bored of protective styles lol I love to wear my hair down and in a ponytail and it sucks that these are majorly breakage causing
i think you should at least wear a protective style when you’re at home and use some "anti breakage" products even tho it’s not really natural products when you wear your hair down or in a ponytail
@@damsmh4374 tbh I think it would be better to wear protective styles outside because you have to deal with constant motion, friction and the weather. You may have thyroid disease. If you are not using heat and not damaging it in any other way like dyeing or getting extensions, it may be due to internal factors. Thyroid disease can cause hair to grow out weak, thin, and grow slowly. You need free t3, reverse t3, and TSH tested. Regular drs like primary drs and endocrinologists don't want to test reverse t3 bc they think it is unnecessary. Try to find a holistic doctor that says they treat the thyroid. You may also have a vitamin or nutrient deficiency.
