I’ll correct the geography error tomorrow. I knew it. I just said it by accident 😂
Why would Six Flags try a hot racer when they've had so much success with RMC?
Maybe they just NEED a launch or they don’t have enough space for a raptor.
@@just-dashin I feel like RMC could launch a raptor if you asked them to. And the small ones like Railblazer and Golden Lasso take up almost no space
Maybe it’s just me but this ride seems tamer than an RMC raptor. So it might be more friendly for families.
I've read up on the reviews of the first hot racer, and alot of people say they have a distinct rattle. So maybe intamin has some work to do to perfect these.
Guess u gotta pick your poison: smooth RMC raptor with awful restraints, or "rattley" hot racer with awesome restraints
@@AG7-MTM yeah except raptors are unbearably rough and have horrible restraints
I agree, the original raptor has gotten way rough. But I hope it's a train issue on the original. Will know once Fiesta Texas switches out to the new trains this spring.
both raptor restraints are comfortable for me and I'm sure the rattle on hot racers won't bother me cuz I have a high tolerance for roughness.
HersheyPark getting a hot racer and theming it to twizzlers would be more than perfect
I honestly think Six Flags is gonna be comfy with BOTH RMC and Intamin again, so ex-SF and ex-CF parks could have these
its funny that there are more single rails that have mcdonalds colors than any other color
It depends how well the 2nd installation goes.
The first one in Luna Park is infamously rough, with a mid layout from reviews.
If the second one is still rough and underwhelming then I don’t see it doing well.
The funny thing is while Walibi Rhône-Alpes is building a hot racer, Walibi Holland is building a (double) raptor.
I’m actually imagining a Vekoma STC for Valleyfair and Cedar Fair did a 2-for-1 deal with Vekoma
what I like about this video is how you talked about la ronde, i quite enjoyed the place so its nice to hear a non negative opinion about it, and i certainly hope they add one, and hope they rmc monstre
It's interesting that RMC is debuting a launched raptor. IDK how it'll feel like but definitely different from the other ones out there.
I'd like to see Darien Lake add something like this.
It will be far more reliable with the round spine. It wont warp as much as the rmc ones.
big dipper at lunar park Sydney (the one already built) isn't very good. its rough and isn't very intense. but it is a prototype, so it is expected.
Bro this is surprising but I was thinking the EXACT same thing about La Ronde which is my home park. We haven't gotten a new coaster in over ten years and this Intamin would fit perfectly where the old Intamin stand-up Cobra used to reside. La Ronde desperately needs coaster investments and this could be a great start.
I feel like this could also fit at sea world San Diego
It covers their lack of air time and intensity. They have GP pleasing rides, but they still need a coaster enthusiast ride. it can also be compact and not very tall, fitting really well with their height limit
walibi holland is geting a rmc rapter 1 famly 1 thrill
I'm not sure from what I hear the first one is rough and that's not good since I believe it only opened 2 years ago. In my experience rides that are to rough tend to be unpopular
Any park could benefit from One of these. They look like such fun rides. Amazing video as per usual!
Just for People who Don't know, The Hot racer at Walibi Rhone Alps will be a custom design, NOT one of the predesigned models.
so
Montreal is not in the United States.
The ride reviews on this aren’t the greatest.
I think the intamin hot racer is not really going anywhere , intamin has a history of being very innovative and not being al that reliable , and ofc not being al that cheap.
This is just a launched version of rmc's rapotor , something that rmc probablly could do but , the nature of this kind of coaster is, small, intens, low capacity, but cheap , adding even a tire launch will make it not competitive with rmc's version.
As for Six flags and cedar fair working with intamin again , dont get your hopes up , six flags bought a nice water coaster from intamin only because mack could not deliver one on time.
Intamin makes great coasters, but don't expect a couple or even any new inamins in sixflags/cedar fair park anytime soon , they only have two ride types that are worth considering.
That being the lsm coasters ( just to expensive compared to similar offerings of vekoma), and their mega/giga coasters ( again cost wise, capacity wise not as good of a deal as a b&m hypers/giga)
But on a positive note , i can see sixflags/cedarfair making multi coaster deals with vekoma( who works closely with RMC and s&s ) for new launched coasters for the bigger parks , and some family coasters/ RMC single rail coasters for their smaller parks
The Ultra Surf was originally supposed to go to a park in Vietnam. However, Six Flags had a last minute decision and bought the attraction for SFOG like they did with the Super Boomerang for SFGAdv
