I can give you a review. I was in the market for an offset about 3 months ago. I will never buy one of their smokers. I’ve been in customer service 20 years and Matt the owner, handled my phone call as an inconsiderate and arrogant salesman. He talks down to his competition, rushed me off the phone because of a meeting, told me he couldn’t tell me why his smoker was better than a workhorse pit at 2k more with less gauge steel because he “didn’t know me.” All of that followed up by him hanging the phone up on me. Save an extra 2k and buy a workhorse - they have customer service figured out and build a far superior pit.
@@thomasjoseph9224 you, know, it's funny you say that, cause I'm in the market for a nice offset, and I cannot for the life if me see why mil scale, fat stack, and the other popular ones are so much more than the workhorse... From what I can tell, the workhorse is thinker metal, had more options when ordering, and all in all just seems like a better deal. Definitely goin with the 1975 workhorse
@@thomasjoseph9224 agree with what you said about why these mill scale are 2k more than a workhorse, these guys price on that mill scale for being 1/4” is way over priced it’s really the name you are paying for. Go with workhorse I’ve also just placed in order I’m impatiently waiting for arrival lol. Nothing to think about workhorse is sister company of well know successful primitive pits and jd the owner and his team have time to talk to customers! With a thicker build of 3/8 steel! Impressive and built for generations!!
Why apple juice in the water pan? when it evaporates, all that actually evaporates is the water. All the sugars stay in the pan. That's kind of how evaporative water purifiers or distillers work. They evaporate the water, and leave every other impurity behind. That's a natural property of water evaporation.
Hey man can you do a fire management video with that smoker. Also about the size of wood you use. Thanks man have a bless day
Now that is a proper offset. Dream smoker!
I'd give up my wife for a cooker like that.

@@tavo5239 my workhorse is incredible. I honestly don’t think I would change anything on it. I absolutely love it.
That cutting board tho 😮
Are they any local stores that have meat church seasoning because I found them on Amazon for almost 20 dollars a pop. Surely that ain’t right.
Make a walk around on the Pitt
I second this motion!
Everyone uses post oak. Throw some cherry, hickory or pecan on that pit. Pecan is my absolute favorite
