I ordered two of these (backed two from the Kickstarter) I really hope to transition them into my go-to work horse printer for 3D prints that are large. I'll still use my M3 Premium for smaller stuff but the big things I market and sell will hopefully be taken care of by these guys.
Any notice in how different resin's effect the printer? (clear vs not clear, vs 8k vs abs-like and such?)
so we haven't tried ABS resin but we have done clear, sunlu and 8k from esun as well as the resin starfield sent and we haven't had to change the settings and all of them come out amazing, honestly i'm kind of in love with this machine i thought it would be a huge adjustment going to this printer but honestly it isn't and the results have been great
@Honeybadger3Dprintandpaint Starfield3D has seemed to disappeared now that the expected shipping date has come and gone. Email address and website are gone also... Have you had any contact with them to find out what is going on by chance? Someone said that a team member who registered the domain left the team and they missed renewing the domain, but I have no idea where that info came from or if it's true. Someone did post in the comments and not the official update section of the Kickstarter page on 3/12, but didn't address the website or the shipping/fulfillment. I'm sure you'd get a ton of views if you would be able to provide a update video to tell all of us backer what might be going on and if we should still have any hope that this awesome printer will actually be delivered.
we have been trying to contact them for over 3 months and no replay as yet, the claim we saw was that their domain expired and the person who was supposed to renew it has now left, but we have no way to verify that
@@Honeybadger3Dprintandpaint the supplier of the laser modules has responded in the kick started comments and confirm they only ever bought 5 modules.

so we have the apex as well, the apex is way faster but personally i think the detail with this is better so depends on what your priorities are
How are the printing times on this compared to msla? What is the build size?
so it is slower, i would say about half the speed but SLA is different to MSLA build volume wise we are looking at 350x200x350
That is nice build volume although i wish these printer companies would work on making that y axis a bit bigger. I guess sla is better quality compared to msla but i do not see it justifying half the speed. Not for me anyways.@@Honeybadger3Dprintandpaint
Are you still in contact with the Starfield company. They have pretty much ghosted on there kickstarter page and keep pushing back shipping to all the kickstarters.
so we dont have regular chats with them, the last time we spoke was just before luna new year, i can try to reach out and see if they come back
