Been going to Vegas since I was 21 (73 now) and finally in June 2019 stopped at Peggy Sue's with my sister. We really enjoyed it, fun and good food. So glad I took it off our bucket list because my sister passed 6 months later.
I have been going up and down Hwy 15 to Barstow, CA.... my Dad's family is from there and ALL of those stops I have seen, just to let you know... it looks like he went the 'Back-way' of getting into Barstow. Passing the 'Ol Grande Bridge', just north of Victorville (VV).
It's refreshing to see a couple take time to slow down the typical fast paced life and spend quality time with each other. Most people these days just rush to get from one place to another.
Me...too!! I had my Dad's family living in Barstow, CA.... we would travel out there from L.A. every-other-month (!!) But I love the desert compared to living in LA. But yeah.... there are some sites there I have not seen before.
I agree that the music is not great on this video, but hopefully the content is helpful and my more recent videos have a lot better music so be sure to check them out!

You guys trying to make a grown man cry? My Dad was stationed at George AFB in the mid-70's. That roadtrip takes me back especially around Victorville. I have been back to the area about 7 years ago. I'm guessing I've been to or by half of your 22 stops. Great job and thank you!
I love how stoked you are about places you've been to before, meteorite museum closed? No problem, heres some footage from the last visit. Thanks for the road stop ideas!
Thank you, thank you for stopping at some of our favourite places and bringing back happy memories of our two road trips along the same route. Barstow was just one of those places we loved, we don’t know why, it just was! Happy days! Brilliant.

Niko Bellic yep it’s doable I did the 15 thru Palmdale then come out near magic mountain to hit the 110 back end simivalley to calabasas area! Always like those long drives coming from Hawaii o only drive in circles
hubby and I have been to many of these places...but...as you pointed out...there are MORE to see....I feel a ROAD TRIP coming on..!~!~!..THX for all you do to help us all have FUN...esp in weird 2020........stay safe..!!
Thank you so much for all your tips! Our family from New Zealand came and spent 2 weeks in the USA and used your videos to find stops from LA to Las Vegas, around San Diego and San Francisco and also the PCH. Without your videos we would have missed some really cool stuff. Keep up the great work! We hope to come back again and do more things that we missed!
California Through My Lens ohhhh good question. The bottle tree ranch, the train museum, the bar right next to bubble gum ally with all the amazing craft beer etc, Bonita light house, La Jolla seals (where we got a parking ticket lol)... so many amazing memories. We miss it so much!
For some reason this sincere video shared by the 2 people who took it has resulted in many sniveling kind of comments from obviously pained people who don't like their own lives and have to take out time to complain. I will just say thank you I enjoyed every bit of it.
Tks Josh! I think your main objective to encourage people to get out of the main road and made an unbelievable experience caught us. Me and my wife took this trip from Vegas to LA, and I t was awesome, took about 10 hours but it was the best experience in our second honeymoon.
I've lived in Orange County, and now living in Las Vegas, and traverse the I-15 countless times. I've seen the signs and names of all these places but never paid much attention to them. Thanks for sharing a video of what they are!

Love your videos. I drove route 66 with my family in 1960. We were driving a brand new 2960 chevy impala, red and white. Picked it up in Detroit. That was 60 years ago, but good memories

Hello You Two, I've traveled this road twice, having seen this video I realised I should take the road less traveled. This video is one of those little pieces of UA-cam magic. Part of the chemistry is the people who made it, another is the soundtrack. I actually quite like the music! Thankyou so much for this video
Driving from los angeles to vegas is amazing, the mojave is the most beautiful landscapes I have ever seen, it always takes 18 hours to travel because we get lost and see things, it's best in winter, 2 years ago near the PowerLine road in the middle of nowhere, that was beautiful. The early morning, the light patches of snow, it was so beautiful. I want to live there but it will be too hot in the summer.
You guys did an awesome job with this video. I'm born and raised in California, but now live in Las Vegas. I had an idea some time ago for a video like this, but you definitely came up with more places. Great work!
Very helpful video 👌👍 right on IV been in Vegas so many times... Not knowing some of these places you guy's showing us..... keep up the good work and travel On..... peace and love to all.

Great job. You and Amy make a nice couple. Watched this last night before turning in. Had dentist appointment today. I'll be 73 soon and I liked the background music. I know you have a lot of comments to read, but just wondering who did the music? It was kind of romantic with you and Amy trekking around. I'm determined to watch all your road trips. Puts me in a happy mood. Alan.
Great video. The music didn't bother me. I'm going to check out some of these places this year. There are several where I've seen the signs and thought that I'd stop there someday. Thanks to your video, some day just got a lot closer.

California Through My Lens As I remember, I think it was called “Lake Dolores”. My ex-wife heard about it at work when we first moved to Riverside in 1978. We drove out there about three times in the next two years. I heard it closed about 2000 due to insurance/lawsuit problems (lawyers kill everything that’s fun).

Hey guys...we stumbled on your channel in the summer as we were researching for Yosemite during pandemic and found your hikes and travels very useful...I’m commenting on this video because we just came back from our short trip to Las Vegas from Discovery Bay, North Cal where we live. We had so much fun searching for the few spots from this video to include Del Taco in Barstow, the short Main Street Route 66; Then we found the tallest Thermometer in Baker along with the Alien Fresh Jerky...bought one bag of jerky...(big mistake since it did not last to Primm). Also visited the Bonnie & Clyde Death car. Great treasure hunt on our 8 hours that turned into 10 hours plus....Keep up the great exploration of California. Thanks. Happy Holiday to you and Amy and your twins and parents.

Great video. Loved it. Having traveled I-15 many times, I alwasy wanted to do exactly what you have done, but never got around to it.
