Young loafa is sweet and my mom usually put it in the soup. Btw I live here in Spring Tx. and I want to start gardening. I do hope that you keep sharing your knowledge to us so we can also be successful in feeding our family safe and nutririous food! GOD bless!
I'm growing luffas for the first time this year. I planted them outside in May, as my research told me. I'm so excited I planted 6 seeds, not knowing if any would actually take. I'm getting the first blooms this past week. I can't wait to try eating one as well as having sponges!
It's like we are living in different dimensions becuz we don't know luffa is used as sponge...All we know it's used for eating here and very famous vegetable... litrally the whole india eat it
In India , people also make luffa from tori from ancient times, I am seeing this from my childhood Fresh as vegetables and ripened and dried one as luffa

Taking a shot every time she says "actually" would probably be severely dangerous. 9/10 doctors agree.

I'm stunned. i accidentally learned today that they are vegetables now I'm in another rabbit hole! lol. thanks for sharing!
