I actually heard of Taeyang before I heard of Big Bang. It was fate. My world geography teacher played his song "Wedding Dress" for us and I was in love. I didn't even realize what a huge star he was until I asked my friends from Cambodia and Thailand if they ever heard of him, and boy did they.

He’s a true artist, not just an idol. He got me into Big Bang and never disappoints. He can slay any concept and has his own style. His wife is truly lucky to marry such an amazing person. Taeyang's gotta be my fav performer ! definitely most of YG's artists are great on general but whenever I see Taeyang on stage it just feels natural he's a real time swagger , he has a choreo and of course plans the stage and the performance but it feels like he just went at it at the moment truly amazing , hope I get to see him performing for real one day ! ♥
I remember seeing him song ENL in concert and almost bursting into tears. A magical feeling fell into the arena, we were all silent and singing when the chorus part hit. hahahaha Kpop is a complete world, there are different genres and group concepts for all likes. Check out Bigbang and his members solos (Taeyang, TOP, Seungri, Daesung, G-Dragon), they're kinda different as other Kpop artists.
I'd checked out them, and yes, their music kinda different from other Kpop.. I watched their videos (because of Taeyang) and like their style & interactions the most. The first thing that hooked me to Taeyang was his aura & his voice, not his music (it came later). I'm still a hardcore fan of rock music, especially classic rock. But I always read news about Kpop (again, because of Taeyang) ^ ^
Dewi Watts daesung, one of BIGBANG member really good singing rock too.. but sadly hes solo is all JPOP (japan pop song). check BB rock song "oh my friend" its really good *my opinion

I love how in this performance of eyes nose lips he really went for all the high notes. In a lot of his other performances he just ad libbed for them.
