I hadn’t realized she wrote this song while remembering the times she was a young girl so burdened by pressure at the time that she nearly didn’t want to go on living. Wow, a heart rending backstory like that yet I don’t think she mentioned it during Idol despite the votes she must have known it would have gotten her. This song means so much more now. It needs to be shared far and wide.

@@tammylogue1159 How much they pay judges is published by entertainment outlets and Abi's music video is so low quality it looks like it was filmed on an Iphone. They don't invest in their winners anymore is my point. Of course, the winners aren't as talented as early seasons, but still.

At least they didn’t force this girl into doing a movie that really sucked. They forced Kelly Clarkson to do that awful movie. She begged them not to make her do it. I’m telling you, winning the show is not always the best result. American Idol basically own’s you for years and you have very little creative control. Will really won out, because he is not obligated to AI for years. He was able to choose the record deal he wanted, but Abi has to sign with the record company that AI specifies. She will be under their thumb for years. It took Kelly Clarkson 6-7 years to finally leave the label and seek her own contract.

I’ve got chills and I can’t stop watching this video. This is one of those anthem songs that resonates. I feel it in my core. It’s very rare that I hear songs that make me feel I have the strength to face my fears and overcome what I’m going through. Don’t underestimate the power of music. It saves lives. I’m a product of that. Without music I wouldn’t be here today. It’s music like this that saved my life, fighting debilitating mental health struggles that nearly cost me my life. I want to cry. That’s how proud I am of Abi. ❤️🎤⭐️

I'm 62 so I'm OBVIOUSLY biased to Rock BUT there is something so beautiful about Abi, her voice and image. I RESPECT her so much. She reminds me of a young pure Barbara Streisand. Maybe that's why I am such a fan of a 21 year olds music 🤔 Her music appeals to all ages. You watch, her concerts will have young kids and old farts like me in the crowd 😏

With all due respect, it’s Carrie Underwood. If Abi gets the right people around her, she’ll probably make it like Kelly or Carrie. Because she honestly just sounds like any other singer, nothing unique in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong, she’s talented and has the voice but that means nothing if she’s not commercially successful. We’ve all seen a lot of Idol winners who are really excellent but only Kelly and Carrie are super commercially successful. I wish her well in this journey!

Once I saw what Abi Carter ‘was made for’ with her first audition, I was hooked for this whole season just to see more Abi. Bring Me To Life has been the best performance I’ve ever seen. Abi Carter concert tickets are on my bucket list!! Number #1 in all Idols.
