    Oh my gosh Fr. Chris! Do NOT let ANYONE make you feel badly. You are an AMAZING priest!! You have ALWAYS taught the truth! And I think you are a very holy man!! I am a new Catholic. 3 years this Pentecost and I just adore you!! I have turned to your talks for years and have learned more from you than from my own parish priest. (And he’s a great priest) You will be known as Saint Alar one day. You watch from Heaven!! ❤❤❤

    AA actually brought me back to God. Raised Catholic but left the church over 50 years ago. Was in total denial of God and the faith. It was the constant repetition of the Serenity prayer that finally broke me down enough to where I finally completely surrendered and acknowledged God as who He is. About a month or less later, He sent His Son, who appeared to me in full-body apparition and asked me to accept Him and join with Him. I said YES! I was 8 months sober. Jesus healed me, I don't want to drink anymore. Thank you, Fr Chris, for this video.

      @@DivineMercy_Official something i find a bit weird. satan rejected god, and i reject god, so that kinda makes us allies, why would satan torment me? sure he would burn christians alive, but he's got no beef with me. if i sold my soul to satan, why would he torture his investment. i think there are two heavens, the boring one you'll be going to where you suck up to god every day, and the fun palace where all the earthly pleasures i couldn't afford, are free.
      basically why would hell be torture?
      and god doesn't SEND me there right? i choose to reject god? so i choose to go to the beach, my free will means god can go screw himself.

      @@DivineMercy_Official I struggle to believe that we were never meant to physically die. Or that we never would have experienced pain or suffering. Surely God didn't want us wrapped in cotton wool, and not have the opportunity to prove our gratitude and love for the gift of life, even in adversity, especially in adversity. I could wholeheartedly accept that because of our primitive state we could be considered to be in a state of innocence, until of course we became disobedient to our consciences in learning right from wrong in accordance with our growing understanding of a creator God. I feel that Jesus was always going to come to perfect our lives by moving us on in the knowledge of love. So in my humble opinion, we need to drop the fundamentalist idea of physical immortality from the start. What would we loose? Surely our religion would have more credence if we could be more consistent with regards to our interpretation of genesis, is it a story to tell us basic truths, but not literally accurate historically, or are we being asked to believe the incredulous teachings which I was led to believe was only to give us a loose understanding that God made us.

    This is real. My life has changed completely in the short span that I gave my life away to God and Mary. I was addicted to alcohol, marijuana and pornography. I can say that I don't even crave these things anymore. I struggled for YEARS with these. Most days I don't even feel tempted to fall back into these things, but I pray the Rosary daily sometimes twice a day. I put all my trust in God and let go of all my worries. The changes are truly unbelievable yet I am living proof. Thanks be to God 🙏🙏

    I have been sober since 2005. Best decision I ever made. Now, I want to be addicted to righteousness and the Mercy of our beautiful and loving God. I can't seem to get enough of these videos. Doubt I would have ever walked away from the Church had we been exposed to the message that Father Alar preaches. I am leaving the place of Laodicea and the fire that once burned dim is burning bright in my life. It glows brighter it seems with each message I listen to. May God Bless you Father.

    "Sin is the opposite of charity". Was a eureka moment for me. That is the key to sanctification.

  • @praytherosaryeveryday2709
    @praytherosaryeveryday2709 4 роки тому +195

    The best remedy for sin is praying the rosary. "No one can live continually in sin and pray the rosary, either they will give up sin or give up the rosary" i forget what saint quoted this but a truer statement was never heard in relation to the rosary. If one is devoted to the daily rosary you will not commit a mortal sin and you will be mindful of vineal sins that you have to work on. You will grow spirituality and go deeper in your faith from the rosary. Inner peace hope, joy, and fortitude will be your companions instead of anger, dispare, greed and every other destructive emotions that only lead a soul in the wrong direction. When i pray the rosary the 1st, 3rd and 4th promises of the rosary are active in my life. we are like kites blowing in the wind where the winds of this modern world will always be our guide instead of our holy spirit if we give up on the rosary. Pray the rosary and you will not only save your own soul but all those you pray for also. We need to pray daily for the conversion of sinners and the salvation of souls.

She was giving up cigarettes on 1/1/1997 and I wanted to do the same to be supportive. She lived in Tennessee and I was in Illinois. You don’t know how much im thankful for your channel father, i always watch ur videos everynight. Waow, this is awesome. I am sober since April 19th 2004, haven't touched a drink since then thanks to AA. I was brought up in the Catholic faith and often pondered over the similarities between my upbringing through the Sacraments and especially confession with my journey through the 12 step program in AA of basically finding out, owning up and making amends for my sins. In AA this process is coined as: Trust God, Clean House and Help others - all in-line with Catholic Spiritualism. Love the Catholic version of the 12 steps ❤

    I started watching your video in October 2023. It started from 1 video and then I started listening to it everyday while I was doing my chores. I can't express how it has changed my life. Something that I have been trying to do for the last 30 years. Now, I did my confession, started mass daily, and reading and knowing God. There have been so many miracles in my life since then. I stopped my depression medicines with trust in God, I reconciled with my parents, I pray and attend mass daily. I have grown so much just with a start of watching your videos. I always keep you fathers in my prayers. Thank you so much for the teachings.... Regards, Joyce from India.

    I have been sober 10 years now I would’ve had probably almost 18 had I not relapsed during my divorce, one thing I can definitely say as someone so addicted to drugs and alcohol. The struggle is absolutely real and of Satan and I never thought that I could stop, I was so broken and enjoyed doing what I was doing too much. I did not have God in my life like I do today but one day I just stopped it was an absolute Divine intervention in every sense. I’ll never forget it. How many times Jesus called me and called me and called me and I ignored him. Well finally I listened, and He did the rest. I never went to AA/NA, I just stopped. My relapse lasted two years. But I absolutely know that I could go right back down that road in a second and it is only by the grace of God and not from anything that I do, that I do not!!

    I was once looking at my watch so I could purchase the alcohol at 7:00 a.m.. walking around the grocery store on Sundays looking at my watch to be first in line when the clock struck noon at which time they began selling alcohol. That was over five and a half years ago. Nothing since then by the grace of our Lord. In fact I hardly remember that I was ever under that influence. The desire was removed from me. I often tell people if you abuse it you will lose it voluntarily or involuntarily.
