    Thats an interesting chip, I will keep it in mind for switching a bit of current (500ma) Merry Christmas and a great New Year !.....cheers.

    coincidentally I opened my 'christmas bells' last night as i had lost the adapter and needed to 100% know polarity, it has the same IC to drive the little solenoids that ring the bells to play tunes, it has 9 bells.......guess its wired odd, now I need to know lol
