      They played Boiler Room Camden London just before the lock down.Tiny venue,it would have been amazing. Gutted to have not discovered them before that.

      The crowd really were there for music and music alone. Hiromi plays this fest and they cheer every possible bit of exciting turn in her music too.

      Agreed. Not very common. I can think of one I love though. A massive crowd in Rio singing along to Rush's YYZ, and it's an instrumental. It blew me away how into they were. All hopping in unison as well. It's on UA-cam somewhere.

    My favorite song from Little Big Planet. Oh, and I've loved Helmet since i was a teenager in the 90's. Jon Stainer is one of my favorite drummers.

    Absolute beast. i was there.It was 2011 and japan had been shook. Everyone wanted to let go of all that had happened that year. We came to Fuji Rock to let go and battles brought it

      It's no weirder than Alex Van Halen and his half a dozen bass drums! You should hear the guy's playing on the rest of the Battles album. Very simple, but some of it is way outta left field and some of the monstrous 32nd note rolls he pulls out...savage.

    For all Battles newbies out there, this is the 3-piece version of the band following the 2010 departure by head honcho Tyondai Braxton. They are now operating as a 2- piece and I was due to go and see them play in my home city of Leicester, but then came Covid-19. :-((

    I read that some people think the guitarist never uses his guitar.
