Hi All, after Amlan Karmakar's comment I reached out to GN and they confirmed that the bat cover supplied with the bat was the wrong one. The red one is a standard range cover and a black padded cover similar to the one I have is normally supplied with a Legend. Kingsgrove's mistake.
Kingsgrove employs a lot young ones who unfortunately doesn’t know what they are doing. (Oiling/knocking in) had a new bat that they put the extra tec on wrong so it was pulled off with the grain so some willow came off. Store manager offered 10% off.
I have the same legend and bought it in November / December 21. I kind of feel the handle is a bit narrow, so use double grip to get a better feeling. I also got the black padded cover. The less cost probably suffice for the red cover for this bat
Out of all the bats you have reviewed what bat comes closest to being your unicorn? I no it's off topic to this video. I've got a legend with 15 or 16 grains and it pings after 3 years still but looking for a new bat this season
Nice video Marc. For a grade 1 & class A bespoke bat that price was solid. Ohh to be a collector of top-end bats, I'd be too tempted to use them all though!
@@CricketBatInfoIt would be a nice hobby right...although if I was a collector I think I'd collect old-school vintage bats instead of current bats...the older the better...but that just me.
Wow. My first Super Thanks. It didn’t show in the UA-cam Management App. Thankyou so much Kartik! This will help me with the channel. Keep an eye out in a future review because I will be mentioning your contribution to the channel.
Bleach is the best for killing mould in the bathroom. Where are you? In the tropics. Bats are getting exposed to water or humidity. Only seen mould on bats left outside in the rain.
@@CricketBatInfo Hi Marc, we have had so much rain in Sydney, like never before, GN scoop and dyna drive, left in GN full bat covers. Got them out, and I was shocked to find small spots of mould on the face back and sides. Can only put it down to everything being so damp, a few of my team mates also have had the same problem.

I bought a legend from kingsgrove and I also got the standard red cover
I've got a legend with worse grains than that and it still flies. Stuart k usually knows what he's doing. Great vid as usual Marc.
Yep, quality bat maker
What's a good bat for openers? Specifications please. Also recommend a make and model. Thanks.
My legend bat just showed up. Only has 6 grains. Crazy how dif they can be. But is near flawless, really nice and clean look
Please do u have the review or unboxing of the legend gold Australian made?
Check the playlists on the main page. Cannot remember. Probably had one before I started doing videos
@@CricketBatInfo thank you

Really nice bat, GN Australia, always produce a high quality product, the price the owner got it for, is a good one.

That’s interesting Amlan. Maybe Kingsgrove supplied the wrong cover? Love to query this

Thanks mate. Kingsgrove supplied the black cover to me back last year
Anyway, always enjoy your reviews.

Agree Michael. That said if I had the money to buy bats that would mean I was in front of my living expenses and debts too. Great hobby buying bats.

Wow that was quick.
@@CricketBatInfo haha, I was reloding youtube as you uploaded
Not the cleanest $1400 bat on the market.
End of season stock. It’s still a fine bat.
Hi Marc, a few of my bats starting to get abit of mould, alot of wet weather, any suggestions to clear it of the bats, if anyone as any ideas.
