This made me believe as a single dad, that my daughter and I can actually live in a smaller place. I’m so used to bigger places, this seems more “homey” than anything I’ve lived in before. Thanks for the inspiration!!
When you are living tiny, being neat and clean is key. I have always lived tiny.

This gave me hope as a single mom I can do it with one bed I don't mind sleeping out in the living room and kids having room. as a 2bed right now is just not in budget

Ok ive been feeling bad being in my one bedroom with my 12 year old son. I have room he has entire rest of apt. He loves our little place. He was born n lived his whole life here. I knw he's getting older n i want him to have more but maybe thats just my thinking. He has the best life he says but as parent i guess we want more. This video gives me some hope that he is really happy and its just mommy stuff.

I love these ideas! 😊 I live in a 420 squ ft apartment apartment with my 7 year old daughter. It's cramped, but a top floor view of beautiful Lake Superior sunrises makes it all worth it. 😊 I chose it because it fit in the budget lol, but we make it work.

Yea but kids need to go to bed at a reasonable hour and mom and dad might want to stay up. She can also have a play area in the room. This works fine and gives mom and a chance to have some free time after the kid goes to bed. If I had kids I’d do the same thing.

I always call my 1 bedroom apartment my "Tiny House".
Goals. We think we might invest in that shikifuton bed. Any suggestions/tips on how to get used to it?
We got ours from a website called JLifeInternational. It’s pretty firm which we like. I know some people will get a padding to place overtop (not sure how that will be to fold up though). Definitely have some form of padding underneath. Also keep in mind the queen size is a mammoth. If you are picking up every morning it is most likely a group effort :) But as they say teamwork makes the dream work!

I’m a solo mum with a toddler. I can’t afford to buy a 2 bedroom apartment but I am looking for a 1 bedroom.
My plan is to give my son the bedroom too and get a wall bed built. But maybe a futon is the way to go.

Im getting ready to move from a large house to a very small 2 bedroom apartment with 3 kids!! I also plan on giving the rooms to my kids. This video definitely helped me find ways i can make it more cozy and useful for us. Thank you 😊

You can definitely get a sofa bed or a Murphy bed . I saw a great video of a single mom with 2 kids in NY city in a one bedroom. She has everything. A great playroom and a Murphy bed that folds down that she sleeps on with the kids in the bedroom. It can be done.

This was lovely. We are a soon to be family of 4 living in a tiny apartment with 2 bedrooms but they are tiny ( I'd say single bed rooms because our double takes the whole floor almost) you gave me some great ideas x

So my husband son and myself live in a 600-something sq ft apartment that has the exact same layout as yours and VERY similar features. I kind of freaked out when I saw that you guys have the same exact “Welcome” sign/key hanger by your front door entrance (from Target, yes?) as we do too 😳 It is a bit freaky like we are living the same life 😂

Hi, the couch is from Wayfair. The table is from ikea! We pull out a tatami mat and futon mattress at night from a company called J-Life International.
You guys are always such a great joy and I love your beautiful place as you bring it to life with so many of your precious special touches on which I love dearly. Wow Joy is really growing up very quickly and she is such an aborably cute precious little angel. Your sweet little puppy looks a little bit like our little guy Timmy. @@WifeMeAndTea you're so very welcome as it is my great pleasure indeed. Awe I just love your puppies cute name and I love Pomeranian's and it's a nice mixture with a poodle. I have had a few Pomeranian's and now have a little guy now we call Timmy or T.T. for Tiny Tim because he was the runt of the litter. He is a mix between Bishon & Haveanese on which he looks pretty much like a poodle very smart pup. I hope you guys are staying safe as much as possible. My family of 4 is also in a one bedroom as soon as we can get the couch bed the bedroom will be full blown our kids room. And I can get a camera put in

Awesome video! Me and my wife were wondering where does mom and dad sleep if baby has the bedroom?
We pull out tatami mats from under the couch, then we set a futon mattress on top of that.
