You guys did a great job!! Any pointers for a new captain? Look for ideas but you guys did great. We call the extensions flutters and carves cones. Oh and I love the vocals ive really found that they help. Great Job
Michallia Nelson here at South Shore the parallel has been called helicopters for years. Since the 80ties. We also have been saying figure 8 since the 80ties. We know all the updated sayings but choose to stay with the original sayings. I'm old school.
I'm on a Silk Line, which is pretty similar but it's a little different because our moves are different and sharper. Is twirling Color Guard hard to learn? I want to audition for a college Color Guard, but I want to know how difficult it'll be to transition from my silk line to a color guard.
in my guard we call extentions 'Red Devils' and windmills 'Blue Devils' and carves 'Cones'..... XD
Same
I thought my guard was weird, love to find similar people
What you called carves we called them figure 8's at my old high school.
This is so weird cuz usually most guards have a slight varoayion om how to do these but this is identical to the fundamentals i do hahaha
Thank you so much! It's been two years since I've done colorguard and this really helped jog the memory on the basics!
at my school we call extensions flourishes and carves cones and the flat toss parallels :) it's cool to see different names for the same things though
we do too except for flat tosses ! and our flourishes look a bit different like theyre above our head instead of our shoulder
Wowww ! you guys were really good . yall was together

We call the carves, cones, and the extensions, wrist curls in my high school guard. It's neat to see what others guards do, though.
