Cameramen filming this concert deserve a huge Medal! Bravo 👏
The chemistry these two giants had playing together is beyond of the human understanding.
TOTALY is beyond believe the compenetration. It's like they are in each other's brain bringing all their talent with 'em
Two parts of the sane organism.
Gods beautiful seed.
When this video will get more views than Kardashians we might be living in a better world!
well it obviously will one day
kardashians are mortals
pop will die
the actual music which is classical/flamenco will live on forever
Paco , Juanito.
I can watch this thousands and thousands of times over it's just so much here never gets old
beauty never gets old, especially when it emanates from the heart
Amazing show of skills. Both masters, but I must say Paco's solo @.50 mins in is amazing. So many colors..so many tones expressed by one man on guitar. Just awesome.
Fantastic. Two very different players making one of many superb connections in their careers. So blessed to have them and see things like this. Paco's right hand is pretty astute in a way that McLaughlin's isn't but man can John make a lot of music with that pick. True call and answer shredding with feeling as well as being played clean. Phenomenal musicians. Thanks for this!
PACO inmortal!
Incredible articulation and phenomenal sense of rhythm.
I think this is the "Everest" of acoustic guitar playing...
The two best. Ever. They have it all. Such a joy to witness greatness like this. I never get over it!!
I love you Paco ...
Esto es para arrancarse los pelos.....!!! 😭😭😭 Paco... Te hecho de menos.... 😭😭😭❤️
Muchissimas gracias Nicolas thank you so much for sharing this beautiful video en musicians Paco esta con las estrellas ✨ 👍🏾🌟🌺🌈🌺🕊️
La tradición musical, inalcanzable con la teoría. Maestro paco
Gracias Paco. Gracias gracias.
Absolutely wonderful playing.
In my view 2 of the greatest guitarists of all time!
paco is the best musicians in my view
Thank you, Paco is eternal!
No pick will ever replace a fine finger nail...
nah
No one will replace Paco
@@franckdebank Paco Candela
@@romo2674 😂 nah bro, I hope that’s a joke
a bit stupid comment. no one wants to replace anything or compare the two completely different approach of playing. both styles has its own sound, feel, and what it can be done with it. it is like saying 'no blonde will ever replace a brunette'. you have to learn to respect both ways man. peace.
What a concert! Absolutely fantastic!!
Why are some down to compare and argue about who is a better guitarist? They are both masters and have command of their voices as only few have ever been capable. We are lucky to be able to experience these performances. They show us unparalleled togetherness and individualism as musicians in this music. That is rare. Enjoy it.
Absolutely agree.
Paco....Flamenco genius.
John has traversed the length and breadth of the instrument.
non-musicians view this as a sporting event. but it isn't.....................
as none other have ever been capable of

Memorável! Magníficos! Estupendo!
good understanding❤
Really amazing great!
¡Qué maravilla! ¡Qué sintonía! Dos genios.

great solo by John in Spain !! Paco as always spot on with the rhythm..
Super killer stuff. Total energy and flow. Thanks!!!
Paco is so rhytmic great and plays so beautiful and Johns solo and touch on the strings is so strong almost lika en bouzoki, and his runs are the greatest!
I think Paco's rhythm might even be underrated lol.
Paco has great solos too. I play flamenco and it is more difficult to do complex strums with pick than hand; for that reason, I think Paco did more rhythms than solos on his tour with John. Nevertheless, both were a spectacular duo.
@@OhGodWhatIsThisAah The sound 🔊 of the 🇪🇸 Spanish guitar 🎸 is bassets than acoustic guitar 🎸.
Znakomita muzyka mistrzowskie wykonanie. Miód na moje uszy. TO JEST TO !!!
Great joy to listen to these guitarists!
This is so fantastic!
Gracias Nico por compartir
De nada, Fernando

Both are on fire here
Incredible ❤😮
RIP Paco. 😘
Superb.Amazing quality too. Thanks for this. Saw these two in the UK on this tour...Spellbinding.
Muchas gracias Merry Christmas happy holidays Nicolás 🌱🌳✨🕊️
I love paco.
OUTSTANDING!! Pure excitement... what a duo!!!
Paco!!!
Cameras always missing the best parts...
Yes! always, It is very frustrating that the camera director didn't understand what they need to do in this kind of concerts. And they were only two musicians. Very bad.
We need more guitarist-cameramen.
Increible los dos!!!!
The Very Best Ever!
So I will say this: from around the 22:00 to 32:00 mark, the Florianopolis section is an absolute joy. Makes me want to dance and I am not a dancer. The marriage of these two virtuosos is explosive; I like Al Di Meola (and Larry Coryell, too) but sometimes just seeing these 2 in rare form in 1987 at their peak is perfect for me. Bravo gents!
Thank you for this great time.
Sheer majestic!!!!
¡¡Pasote, pasote!! Muchas gracias
Holy Smokes, McLaughlin really did rip back then.
I think the traditional flamenco sensitivity has McLaughlin beat in that respect. But I think McLaughlin just blows any guitarist out with his unfettered improvisations. Truly one of kind.
Excellent content. Thank you all so much.
Genuine constructive criticism: some of the chord voicings in the lower register sounded a bit muddy for me. Maybe its my headphones its not meant negatively. Wondering accomplished playing all round.
y que bien que anda Paco.
Gracias por compartir

Love them both but John is mic'd too loud or Paco too low. Could be better.
Nature showing off.

Muchos abrazos
9:49 Ta,ta,ta〰️n❗😃💪😃💪
Men at their peak 🙏
Both are stunning players.
However, my one and only complaint that I have is this...
...WHY IS PACO'S VOLUME ALWAYS LOWER THAN EVERYONE ELSE'S????
The difference is not massively huge. But it is just enough, to give those players with more volume, an advantage over the player who has less volume. The player with less volume has to physically play harder in order to be heard through the mix. In essence, he has to fight with his instrument.
And, this is not the only concert that this happened. I've seen several videos of their concerts, and this issue where Paco's volume was lower is prevalent beyond belief. That also includes concerts with Al DiMeola and/or Larry Coryell, when playing with Paco and John as a Trio. Most of the time, Paco's volume was lower. WHAT'S UP WITH THAT? Was the soundman falling asleep?
I realize that Paco's guitar was not equipped with a pickup, and all the other players had guitars that were. They used a combination of pickups and microphones. Paco only used a microphone. Nevertheless, a sound man's job is supposed to correct any difference in volume so that they all were at the same level. So, what happened?
Also, didn't the players have stage monitors? Couldn't they themselves hear the difference in volume between the instruments? I cannot prove this but, as a purely acoustic player, perhaps Paco was unaware of this. Whereas the other players should have noticed it because of having experience playing electric guitar.
The fact that this happened on several concerts leads me to wonder if there was another reason, beyond the possibility of the soundman falling asleep on every concert. Was it a preplanned way to make sure Paco didn't upstage anyone else? Since I'm a fan of all the players, not just as players, but as human beings, its very difficult for me to even embrace that notion.
So, what's the answer?
What happened?
Does anyone know?
Paco sem palheta....inacreditável 😮
Qué repertorio !!
Rectifico: 50:24 Solo de Paco de Lucía. Bulerías
Espectacular
Beautiful guitar music!
I loved how at, 8:00, minutes, they infused Rodrigo's second movement from "Concierto de Aranjuez" into their solos. As creatively masterful as one could only expect from such guitar virtuosos. RIP Brother Paco. You are now home. And Johnny Mac, you are still with us, and still loved so much. You are the best anyone has ever known.
The best 👍👍👍
The Heaven's joy ! 🙏😘❤️♥️😽🤗
Magnifico!!!
