So to take off spin you go with a lower lofted club, or deloft the club, shallow out your swing a bit more and make an easier swing to account for the reduced loft. That all works together to make the ball come out lower and release.
Without fail, PGA tour players come on youtube channels and gain fans. I had no idea who he was and now I'll be looking for his name on the leaderboard and rooting for him.
That was really fun to watch. Aaron seems like a good dude, and this makes it more fun to watch and root for him on tour. Grant your interview doesn't even feel like an interview. It's more like just a conversation. It really flows well and it's the best I've seen on You Tube. Great questions and follow ups and a great listener. Can't wait for the next video!
I like the color coded tracers. It adds a nice little touch, especially when the viewer isn't 100% sure of the pin placement. Also, keep up the stroke play format. It adds an extra level of realism to the scoring.
I’m new to golf, I know who Aaron Wise is but these type of videos really let the viewer get some insight into the personalities. Funny dude, great personality. Love the banter here all in good fun. Great job guys as usual
Thank you so much for this video and a chance to get to know Aaron. He has always appeared to be a solid person and a great player ever since he came to attention during his great College and Amatuer Career. Seeing him in this match allowed us to see the man behind the great game. I am now officially an Aaron Wise fan.
What a great guy and player. Loved hearing him describe the strategy at The Masters, and loved Tig calling that videographer out of that shot. I've covered the Masters as a camera op and your job is not to distract the golfers trying to get your shot and put yourself at risk, and putting the golfer's career at risk.
Aaron went to the University of Oregon. I was able to play in a 4some with him while he was in college. Aaron is extremely introverted by nature. It’s great to see him out and about, because its a very rare occurrence. He is an outstanding talent. He also made $3.5 million in 2022. Pretty damn good year…
I'd say the consistancy does it, they rarely miss anything and if they do its small misses, they putt better, they scramble better - but most important of all: They belive they can make every shot, and that sets the stage for success.
Look at Aaron's putting numbers over the past few seasons. Although I agree it is a big difference between a tour pro and a youtube golfer he is one of the worst on tour
Can't lie, after seeing all of the pros on all the UA-cam channels, Mr. Wise seems like the most genuine. He didn't try to force anything or crack corny jokes...
Great video and Aaron is all class. He also added to the truth that Phil was right talking about the PGA tour owning all the content of the coverage. Aaron said that the tour was letting them use their footage for their personal content. Love these videos guys. 💯
Ok .. first of all ... Wesley Bryan hold the title "Best UA-cam trash talker" BY FAR !!! Looking at the putter I assume this was filmed before you got your fitted TMs ? The striking is definitely off from the Mizunos. Love the content and collab work with you and Tig.
Such great content Grant! You are killing it! So happy for you! If this would have been played with all the new clubs I feel a much different (better) outcome would have resulted!
A couple years ago I was playing golf in Lake Elsinore, CA and when I was loading everything into my trunk after the round, this guy started chatting me up. I walked over to his cart and sat down and we talked for like 20 minutes. Turns out it was Marc Wise, Aaron’s father. Cool guy, very spiritual, and I started following Aaron closer afterwards.
@@GrantHorvatGolfs thank you because every video of yours will get this comment until it happens. Also love you tig back together. Keep up the videos with the juniors as well you are about as good of a role model as they can get.
Grant, you made me laugh so much it made realize that you have other opportunities, dude, you should be on tour as a comedian . . I kid you not, I laugh so hard it was awesome and yes you and Tig are a great combo.
Great video. A good example of a tour player playing a different game than a couple of excellent golfers. If they played 18, Aaron would probably end up shooting around a 62 and not thinking much of it.
Well done the content was way below par as was Aaron's score. Though you did not play as well as you normally play, Grant. You asked Mr. Wise some great questions which made the content much better than just three guys golfing. Good luck to you Aaron and appreciate how entertaining you were, and you enlightened me with your responses to Grant's questions.
Enjoyed seeing the human side of a tour player. Aaron can flat out talk so,e smack. Even Micah is stepping up his junk talk. Dang kid has some balls getting in some of those positions to film.
i like how in the picture you used of him hes sponsored by nike and callaway and now he’s sponsored by adidas and taylormade, a complete switch to rivals
Aaron was awesome on the channel. And it’s great to see Grant in the cart cam slaying the questions. Waaay better than “What’s your favorite moment on tour?” Cough cough
Shoutout to aaron wise for coming on the channel! This was filmed before the armlock and fitting
Can you explain how to take spin off. The ball is round isn’t always spinning?
It’s nice to see Aaron seems so quiet and reserved nice to see his personality shine like this another great video

Love this! If you want to see how much better professionals are compared to scratch golfers, this video displays it perfectly.
Seriously. He basically takes a penalty and still makes birdie. Unreal.
Helps when Grant has really been off lately.
@@josephdavis7189 please, Grant is a scratch golfer who shot a 77 recently in a mini tour event! Wouldn't matter if he was on!
@@josephdavis7189 you’re insane. At Grants absolute best and Aaron’s worst he’d still lose. Badly

Shout out to Aaron!! Love seeing him on the channel! Super chill and a natural in front of the camera.
Aaron Wise and Xander are my two favorite vids. Aaron seems like a genuine, down to earth kinda guy.
That first hole is a perfect showcase of the difference between a really good player and a PGA tour playa.
Really enjoyable and entertaining evening of Tig and Grant golf, keep 'em coming!
Yep, Aaron just gained a new fan. So great, ill be watching 👀 him now on out. Great video Grant, love it.
Aaron Wise is a class act. He has always been one my favorites...
Tig's 4 iron on the 5th hole was "the" BEST video and tracer i have ever seen - Perfect
(loved the match too ;)
Shoutout to Aaron Wise, repping the broomstick putter like a boss, carrying the flag for the rest of us.
And literally carrying the flag on hole 1 for everybody lol

After watching these series against the pros it’s clear their putting is the difference maker
wedges and in is the difference. Tour pro scramble stats are incredible, and make rate is incredible on putts.

Love this guy. Been following him since his days at u of o! All around great guy and even better golfer. Future is bright for the Wise guy
Never heard of this guy before this video, but I like him. Exactly the kinda guy I'd like to play a round of golf with. The friendly banter is great.
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Grant, great interview. Keep ‘em coming!!
Two things:
-Aaron is awesome
-Grant is really great at interviewing
Appreciate that
@@GrantHorvatGolfs I wonder what his favourite moment on tour was
Grant’s a genuine pro golf nerd. Lots of people like golf, but only a handful have Grant’s knowledge of tour players & the game’s history.
Love the dry wit from AAron. These videos really bring out the pro’s personalities
Prob my favorite pga tour personality from all the collabs (goodgood included)
One of my new favorite golfers to watch. What a solid guy please do this again.

Been following Aaron since his day playing for Oregon. Always pulling for him when he plays.
He’s such a stud
Same here. Growing up a ducks fan, I’ve always had a soft spot for him. Seems like a good guy on top of that.

Love the content with Tig and Grant. They are really great around each other.
Great content Tig just needs to get a hair cut to take him seriously 😂
Aaron’s dad Mark Wise was my short game coach last year.

A pro picks the right club, hits straight and every shot is a fresh opportunity to be consistently solid.
