I see you’ve produced only two videos in two weeks so far, and because I’m greedy for new ideas, I’m disappointed you’ve not produced yet more. ☺️ Get crackin’, lady! 😀 But seriously, I love it when someone seemingly appears out of nowhere with fresh ideas! When my creativity seems to be blocked, I thrash about UA-cam looking for inspiration, and it’s always amazing when someone brand new pops out of the woodwork with bold new ideas, new ways of doing old things, and so on. And with scrap tutorials, most of us are already halfway to the finish line; we simply need someone to inspire us, or to point the way to a result. Your scrapscape idea is extremely easy to execute and yet results in some of the most beautiful patterns I’ve ever seen in polymer. Thanks ever so much, Seana, and best of luck to you in your future polymer endeavors, and thanks a million for sharing with us! I see great things in your (and our!) future! 💋
Lol! I'm working on it! I have a paid tutorial that I have to work on for Craftcast and I have family in from out of town, so I am behind in my tutorials. I have so e more ideas I am working on. I promise there will be more soon. My granddaughter is waiting too! 😁
I loved what you said. At first I thought you were complaining, I should have know that you weren’t because she is just too cute, don’t you think? I love what you said, you just about took the words out of mouth. I like how she doesn’t drag things out and gets right to the point. I don’t know why she’s so worried about the pattern matching up though, because that’s what makes it so unique! Cheers to you both, I’m glad that I found her as well. ❤
Great video, I hope you will continue showing us your wonderful patterns and techniques. Love this pattern, it reminds me of a blouse I had back in the 70's.... oops showing my age ! !
That is great! Haven’t seen this particular technique before! It looks like a winter sweater with a wide stripe (your piece) across the bust line! A bit “Norwegian”! Lovely! Looking forward to more videos! Thank you! God bless you!❤️
I can’t wait to try this, you are so cute and I just really enjoyed this video that popped up while watching other’s polymer clay creations. I’m really glad I saw this video, it was so relaxing and educational at the same time. ❤❤❤❤❤ THANK YOU SO MUCH!
You did a terrific job with this. No one would guess it’s your first video tutorial! I love this way to use scrap. In fact, I don’t do a lot of caning, but I might try making some simple “cane ends” specifically for this technique. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful approach to making the most of scrap clay!
Just finding this video. I enjoyed it very much and went looking for more by you. I hope you are well and that we will eventually see more. I was thinking Natasha-esque.. and also bargello. It looks so intricate but you broke down the process so it was easy to follow. Thank you.
This is really a great tutorial. It looks like you spent hours on it and the final veneer looks really inteicate. Thanks for sharing this. I am also interested to know how you made the swirl earrings. I can,'t wait to try this and to see what else you post on You Tube. Ida Rogers
This is fabulous! Thank you so much for sharing! Would you PLEASE do a tutorial for the spirals??? I’ve been trying and failing to creat that shape for years!
One of the secrets to that swirl is to use something like the end of a needle tool to start the curl process, clay needs to be soft, so let it rest between your finger and thumb for a min to warm it up so that it will move easier as you pull it into a tight circle. Also works easier if you’ve got it on a piece of patty paper or a ceramic tile so you can turn as you form the circle.
Just watched your tutorial on the swirls you made with these sheets, so I had to watch this one first before I tried any of this. I really like all the things you have made from this pattern you developed from scrap. I love the one that’s half solid and half scrap scape. I can’t thank you enough for sharing this, this creative use of scraps looks so versatile and inspiring. Thank you, 🙏 thank you!!!❣️
Awesome tutorial Thanks for the hint of the comb. It was a D'uh moment for me. LOL. Also I second ( or is it 3rd) the suggestion for the tutorial on the swirls.

You did a wonderful job on your first tutorial, I'm really excited to try my hand at the scrap scape. Thank you for sharing on how to cut thin slices without the lucy clay slicer, as you might have guessed I don't have one😕 Looking forward to more tutorials 😍
Love this technique, your presentation is very good. Your sound and video quality are very good. The close up view is just right. You can not tell this is your first tutorial. Thanks for sharing! Please share again soon. I enjoyed this very much, j9 branded jewelry.

@@michelleleube2447 I have a show this weekend and I will make the video after that. So it should be up sometime next week. I'm glad you like the video.
Yes, that is annoying. It is time consuming but what I do is separate each slice as I go. Making sure I keep them in order so I don't mess up the pattern.
Hello Seana, your work is wonderful and very creative. Each creation would be one of a kind, amazing. I have yet to work with polymer and am trying to learn by watching as many artists in this media as possible. Gathering tools to work with isn’t so hard but I can’t seem to find the type of burnisher/smoother you are using. Would you please let me know where I can acquire one? Thank you.
I have been asked this question so many times. I wish I could help but the place I got it doesn't carry it anymore. I believe it is a coffee tamper. You can use an old doorknob. Obviously not one with a lock, but one for an interior door. Lol. Another option is one of those stainless steel soap things. They are supposed to remove smells from your hands. They work ok, but I like the handle. I hope that helps.
Thanks. No, I almost never use resin in my work. I have used it occasionally for a specific look. I like the look and feel of sanding and a light buff better.
Well they say you never forget your first!…😂 yay to you for this video! I have subscribed and eagerly away more! I have tons of scrap and scrap/scrap or what I call crap scrap. I can’t wait to try this!! Oh and thanks for the side show🤪

Hi, I'm so glad you liked it. Unfortunately, the place where I got the burnisher no longer carries them or I'm not even sure they are in business anymore. I have looked for these everywhere but can't find this exact one. I do know it is called a coffee tamper.
