Hi maam and Sir Ken.. Naka inspired talaga ang lahat ng mga videos nyo.. Thnks a lot Tanong ko lang sir, regarding sa flowering cacao trees, kasi nalaglag lang halos lahat nang bulaklak nito, i think the problem is the polination.. Can you share paano mg increase ng mga polinators sir..? Or is it normal na malaglag because the trees are still too young to bear fruits or pre mature pa kasi 1year & 6mos pa lang (800 grafted trees) .. Thank you so much sir..
Thanks for watching our videos. I think it may be too early pa to expect fruiting from your trees at this stage / age. Medyo bata pa. But given that factor. Kindly have your soil analyzed and see if you are adding the correct inputs as well. Hope our advice helps. Good luck on your cacao journey 🍫🇵🇭
Hi Sir Ken Ma'am Shiela I just asking if the quality taste of chocolate (tablea) may affect by the heat produced by grinding /milling process? Thanks! by the way, Thanks for the very informative UA-cam channel😊
Thanks for watching our videos and supporting the channel. Each step affects the eventual taste of the end product. For tablea making, the amount of time it takes to grind cacao nibs to turn into tablea is much shorter than that if you make chocolates. So heat/grinding process for tablea making has very minimal effect on change in taste for tablea. Now over grinding when you make chocolates would affect taste for the end product. The heat from over processing or grinding would cause the natural flavor notes of your cacao to dissipate (mawala). Hope this helps answer your question😊 good luck on your journey
Amazing video 💖💖 Wanna ask lang po, I purchased a kilo of fermented cacao beans And roasted it enough, not even over roasted it to avoid much bitterness, cuz i wanna make it a tablea But after when i grinded it, and tastes it as sikwate, It is too sour, maasim po sya sobra, not like some tablea na natikman ko sa iba, I don’t know if it is really the signature taste of this fermented beans or maybe i failed to roast it enough to make it less sour, I just want to know if there are beans that are really has much sour taste, or i just didn’t roasted it enough? Thank you so much.
Thanks for the questions Joe. Usually sa fermentation na po yun nangyayari. If maganda ang pagka ferment ok naman dapat ang lasa. If may sour notes hindi dapat overpowering. Roasting naman can help sa flavor development but if sobrang sour i would think sa fermentation yan. Minsan the longer stored cacao beans (ex 3months )nag dissipate na ang sour notes and mas chocolatey na ang lasa. If freshly fermented and dried ang nkuha mo then that is more likely the result.
God day!
Hi Junmar, thank you for watching our videos at sa pag support sa aming channel. I would suggest to join cacao facebook groups - take pictures of of your cacao tree and the pods that are growing and just try and ask. Marami pa pong mas magaling sa amin and visually nakikita nila and naidentify nila agad anong variety yun. Hope our suggestion helps. good luck on your cacao journey
Hi! I have a question po. Ok lang ba na i.reheat ang hardened na grinded cacao by using a hair dryer? I.mold po sya para gawing tablea. Sana masagot po.
Hi sir thank you for asking this question. Different people have different reasons in doing business or investing in a particular industry. We are big believers that Money or Profit should not be the top priorities in investing. While profit or kita is important to be able to sustain the business I think mas important po is to be able to pursue something you are passionate about. Most of the time people are easily attracted to the financial figures but rarely realize the ups and downs of the business and the hard work it requires to do so. I have no clear cut answer on why people should invest in Cacao. Mas important po for me is for people to reflect what they are willing to risk, where they are in the stage of their financial situation and find out what they are passionate about or enjoy doing. I hope that this answer is helpful to you.
Sorry about that, we will try our best to have everything subtitled and speak more in English. Thank you for still watching our videos. We really appreciate it.😍🍫
