That was a great honest review! I was using locking gym mats for a garage gym, but the moisture from the concrete would come up and leave behind efflorescence under the mats after a while. I'm thinking the passthrough channels of these tiles might be the solution I need between the concrete and gym mats.
Jim - Enjoyed your review. I'm shopping for my home-garage and this helped. You addressed some areas others have not. One of the items you touched on very briefly... flow-through vs solid tiles. I'm still working through that decision. I'm in the north, have poor drainage, and will definitely have sitting snow-melt under the tiles. Which may not be that big of a deal. But you seem to lean to the flow-through... Anyway, thanks for posting.
@CTwriter - What did you end up going with? I have the same exact question - in the Northeast and will have snow melt under cars. Wondering how that's going to work... Not sure just how effective those flow-channels are?
@@Sad_Bastard_Noodles Actually, I got distracted and never did anything. But one kind of bizarre thing happened along the way. A little after I wrote that question above, I spray painted the walls and ceiling on my entire garage. And some of the overflow got on to the cement garage floor. (And by the way this new paint is white). And so while I never did address the floor specifically, I have been blown-away by how resilient that white overflow paint has been on my garage floor. I honestly don’t understand. I was expecting it to peel up or strongly discolor. So believe it or not, my plan at the moment is not to invest heavily in a plastic floor. I’m going to paint it for now. I mean it’s, easy, a fraction of the cost, and now I know it look pretty damn good for a while. And… I can always put down the plastic over it, anytime I want.

i didnt pay retail as there was a good deal. But call them for the current on going deals. At times they have crazy deals that are like 50% off. best option would be for you to call them directly.

I have no gap between the tiles and the wall. I have cut the tiles and they are a perfect fit. The only thing I can think of is if you reversed fast and with some wheel spin the tiles came off. Because I have a lot of movement in the garage and I haven't have them come undone yet. And now I have had these tiles for a few years.
