[Travel to Japanese Shrines and Temples] 4 Popular Goshuin in Shiga Prefecture

A seal that can be accepted as proof that you have visited a shrine or temple.
Let's receive it after visiting the worship hall or the main hall!
A trip to find 500 goshuin, a recommended goshuin that was healed by my dogma and prejudice!
This time, we have compiled a report on the popular goshuin in Shiga Prefecture!
⏰Date of visit: April 2nd (Sun) to 4th (Tue), 2023
⛰Mt. Hiei Enryakuji Temple
The head temple of the Tendai sect with a history of over 1,200 years. It is registered as a World Heritage Site.
The precincts are vast and divided into 3 districts, "East Pagoda", "West Pagoda" and "Yokogawa".
⛩Hiyoshi Taisha Shrine
The head shrine of approximately 3,800 shrines in Japan, including Hiyoshi Shrine, Hie Shrine, and Sanno Shrine. It boasts a history of over 2100 years.
There are two main shrines, the East Main Shrine and the West Main Shrine, each of which is designated as a National Treasure.
In the precincts, the symbol of the talisman "God monkey" is enshrined, and you can see real monkeys and sculptures of monkeys.
⛰Mii-dera Temple
A temple founded by Saicho, the founder of the Tendai sect.
It is commonly called Mii-dera because it has a sacred spring that was used as a bath for Emperor Tenchi, Emperor Tenmu, and Emperor Jito.
The Kondo (main hall) is designated as a national treasure, and there are many other important cultural properties such as "Benkei's Drag Bell" and "Niomon".
⛩Takebe Taisha Shrine
Ichinomiya of Omi Province, where 'Yamato Takeru' is enshrined. There is a connection with Minamoto no Yoritomo, and in the precincts is "Yoritomo's success water".
Also, the Ono Shrine in the precincts is popular and said to bring good luck in marriage.

長旅お疲れ様でした。やはり湖西メインでしたね。てっきり近江神宮も寄られたのかと思っちゃいましたが…滋賀でしたら建部大社近くの石山寺も指折りの人気スポットですね。また滋賀に来られた際寄ってみてください。
湖東エリアとかですと湖東三山のお寺巡りとかも楽しいかもしれないです。
