Well, that was not a complete surprise. It was obvious something funky was happening in the human realm since we saw the letters Luz' mom got. I did not expect a doppelganger from the start, but definitely something dark. This is the first episode that literally made me cry! I have some symptoms of ADHD. It gave me a hard time in school.(I couldn't concentrate, or I would be TOO FOUCSED to notice other thing that happened around me. Some people would think I ignored them on purpose but...that was not truth😂) I didn't realize what was wrong with me until I graduated from college several years ago. And now I can handle it and even use the characteristics of ADHD. Eda's inner beast is like my symptoms. Although it is hard to heal, she could find a way to get along with the beast in her heart.
I think the reason that Lilith is bigger and darker in color is due to her being a Crow which are natural enemies of Owls and vice versa, just looking at her Palisman gives it the clue and it fits with the sibling rivalry theme
So I think that Belos is the human Gwen talked about, but over the years, he became mad or crazy from living there. So he "disappeared" and returned as Emperor Belos. I also think that he might have a connection to Luz somehow, and maybe sent Fake Creepy Luz to keep Luz's mom occupied.
Loving these reactions! Also, side note for clarity, Belos was absorbing Palisman Magic in Season 1 and here Gwen talks about Titan's Blood. But yeah, he could have access to some! But probably just remnant or something since he still needs to build a Portal to presumably get to the Human Realm. His form of Magic is more technological and often involves a lot of organs and flesh, very different from other forms of Magic, so there's something different going on with him that he likely taught the Golden Guard since he's pretty much the same way. Plus, Belos found a way to seal off a Witch's Magic to only be able to use one Track/Coven as shown in Covention, which keeps coming back such as the Abomination Coven Magic Seal Glyph on the wrist of Bump in Escaping Expulsion and the Beastkeeping Coven Magic Seal Glyph on Gwendolyn's wrist in this episode. Those Seals are also very unique. I bet he's taking the Magic he Seals off from them/specializing the Witches for battle and also preventing effective rebellion. Great first four episodes for this Season! Looking forward to next week with the kids from another Magic school and the forbidden library. Maybe we get to see our first Azura Book Club meeting, that hasn't been brought up since Adventures in the Elements! And of course Lumity, heh
Is no one going to talk about the picture of Luz and Camila?! Freaking Adorable!! 💜🍝 Also, remember back in "Enchanting Grom Fright" when Luz told her mother that she would eventually tell her all about her summer experience. She said she couldn't wait and now that there is some type of Luz with her, has this other Luz told her things already (lies) or is Camila expecting and waiting? This makes me all the more excited for episode 10 (Yesterday's Lie) the end of season 2A. "Luz thinks she may have found a way back home. But is she ready for what she'll find on the other side?"
I have a feeling that is when Luz will find out about fake Luz and Camila will eventually put the pieces together and that fake Luz is not the real one and the real one was in the Isles the entire time
@@kmmk5022 Yes that clip in the trailer with Camila having her hair down and receiving news from what looked like a police station foreshadows that. My money is on that Luz Camp being changeling trap. Were you go and a changeling takes your place. I assume the changeling just keep at it. No clue what happen to all the other kids or why they didn't notice Luz never arrive. So my headcanon has whole but is my best guess.
Some people have already mentioned that Lilith is based on a Raven. They are huge birds, much bigger than Barn Owls(which is what Eda's owl beast is based on, you can tell because of the noises it makes). The common raven is roughly twice as long as a Barn Owl, with almost twice the wingspan, and is on average about three times heavier.
@@abdullahenaya well... Everything what happened now Is because of the Door, that Edna found randomly in the Dirt, that we don't know how old that thing is.

Yeah im binging your reviews. You know what I noticed? That the more time Luz spends in the Demon Realm away from her mother, the more often she drops into Spanish on a dime T_T like it reminds her of home T_T my heart
As someone with chronic pain and a family history of autoimmune diseases, the fact that the curse doesn’t have a cure is really big for me. I’ll never be “cured” and seeing that in a hot badass lady like Eda on TV is so fucking cool to see
Lilith is very much like pearl, and goes on a similar journey. Not like Pearl was evil but she seemed very stuck up and through time they both became the nerdy type who can be very enjoyable and emotional
Gwendolyn shows up: you think that is spit worthy Me sees creepy: *spits out water* now that is spit worthy Also I loved your reaction and I changed my profile picture from a grim reaper sitting on a grave stone to luz and amity kissing so what do you think
That look Eda had when Lilith said "dad". Hmmm, something tells me Eda....doesn't have too much of a healthy relationship with her father. Also, there was another human who lived on the isles before Luz?! Who could this be?! Luz's father?! A male ancestor or relative of Luz?! Belos?! Who?! Also, Creepy Luz is canon?! Omg! Plot twist. I thought this theory would be impossible but I've been stood corrected. What if this summer camp is a conversion camp? What if the camp was somehow connected to the Boiling Isles? What if the camp was a simply a set up that sends parents back clones of their children? It's like the Owl House version of the Changlings. Or perhaps either Eda, Golden Guard, Belos, or Kikimora had created a clone of Luz and wrote those letters. Also, I wonder more of King's father. The way they handled King's character arc this episode of question whether if his father cares for him or not when Lilith called him out saying his father wasn't there during his hatching.
I find it really interesting Lilith's beast-form is raven-based because, like, her Palisman is a raven which implies that if, for example, Gwen were to be afflicted by a similar curse her beast form would be an eagle (and so on and so forth) which just makes me wonder even more about the exact nature of the bond between Palisman and Witch.
@@wheneverwherewinter3248 buddy. Pal. Some people aren’t observant. You don’t gotta be mean spirited about it. I just commented it because I thought it was impressive that she noticed so early.
(Edit: I wrote this before you said it in the video) Hey, I said this in another channel, but what if Belos is the human that appeared/disappeared. That’s why he needs the magic from the the Palismen and why he has a mechanical staff. Like Luz and the glyph magic, what if he ended up combing the wrong glyphs and ended up being absorbed by the magic and corrupted and boom!! He became dependent on the magic to causing him to cause an uprising of restraining wild magic because of the amount magic being used, because he could find a way back to earth. And since he was trapped and needs magic to live he needs to syphon the remaining magic in the air not used by covens, Eda stated in one episode that the island gives them magic; once they expend what’s in their bile sac it’s refilled by the island. Also this is further supported because even though the population of Bonesborough is aware of humans, they aren’t actively trying to cross into the human realm except Belos. Which leads to the conclusion that he was a normal person that ended trapped, but he was already a bad personality and was tempted by power, wants to go back to the human realm to rule it which is why he needs concentrated magic from the covens and the Abomination army from the Blights. It is just a theory though, so anything is game.
This is why I can forgive season 1 Lilith. Her scars ran so deep, it seeps through her consciousness. I bet her Raven beast is bigger because of all of that baggage. This show is all about mommy issues.
It's a good thing Mama Edalith had Luz as she was the wise one this time, remember in early season 1 when Eda told Luz to "never trust a man in casual drapery" aka Old wizards in fancy pyjamas.
I immediately thought of Belos as the first human -always has a mask on -shoves green palisman stuff in his eyes, might be titan blood, -wants a portal to the human world -the mom says her great grandmother heard about another human. Belos apparently rose to power 50 years ago so the timeline fits. -he might have a whole Wizard of Oz motif going for him. like he's actually a charlatan. The mention of him comes from an episode where the healer is a fake so it fits the theme of the episode.

Prediction, Amity finds the whatever it is in the library and needs to decide "Give it to Luz, make her happy, and risk losing her back to the human realm or hide it so she can keep her Luz in the witch realm"
Bet when that door's opened, all the texts from Luz are gonna go through. Which makes me think Camilla's gonna throw hands with Creepy Luz and then start trying to figure out where her daughter actually is (the scene of her from the trailer).
See thing is, when the scene with Gwen stealing all the elixirs, i realized that it could (and probably is) depicting anti-vax people LMFAO. Not listening to doctors and using her own ways to help her daughter (like using essential oils like a lot of anti-vac people do). Just food for thought 😧😬

Love this
I call Eda’s mama “Mama bird”. 😘🦅
I call her Gwen, because that's her name. But I'm also gonna call her Mama Edalith now
Lilith going all drunk off ice cream.
Makes her more alluring?
So I think that Belos is the human Gwen talked about, but over the years, he became mad or crazy from living there. So he "disappeared" and returned as Emperor Belos. I also think that he might have a connection to Luz somehow, and maybe sent Fake Creepy Luz to keep Luz's mom occupied.
16:37-16:45, Easy To See Where Eda Gets Her Fierceness From
I think she will be like AHHHH and take a small break when she sees something at the end
14:07 nah but the giggle after the sneeze 😂
18:57 look how she didn’t even talk about the fact that King was like, “you live here?” 😂
I think her reaction is to creepy luz is what we all did when we first saw creepy luz.
Also, remember back in "Enchanting Grom Fright" when Luz told her mother that she would eventually tell her all about her summer experience.
Also this makes me so much more excited for episode 10 (Yesterday's Lie) "Luz thinks she may have found a way back home. But is she ready for what she'll find on the other side?"
Where did you find the synopsis to the last episodes?
@@shadycactus7896 Go to the IMDB website for The Owl House and clicks on the (episodes) link. You will find the episodes names and rankings of imdb. Along with the descriptions for the episodes all the way through episode 10 of season 2.
@@roo1014 Is that when we'll find out how, when, and why the fake Luz is there
Amity: "WHAT? There are two-two-two Luzes?... I gotta GO!"
I love how the eyes are also not visible with creepy Luz. I love that. Everything about this creepy Luz seems to be completely normal acting. Idk if Belos sent this thing or not. I have a theory that Luz's magic and her insecurities are manifesting this Luz in the human realm. It's not based in any kind of reality or fact it just feels like one of those situations.
Nah it's just a basilisk
21:10 you can literally see the change in facial expressions, the moment creepy luz says “here mama”
Ikr Elijah instant change in mood got me rolling🤣
Oh god, even though I've seen this episode and others react to it, I'm still not ready!!
RIGHT everytime it’s hard to watch!!
21:07 ive never seen such a fast change in mood😭😭😭
21:09-21:15, And I Thought The Letters Were A Shocking Twist! Clearly There's More To This "Reality Check Summer Camp" Than We Were Originally Led To Believe!
OMG the ending got me sooo good! 😱 My mouth literally dropped of shock and I kept screaming what just happened to myself! Lol 😂😂😂 I am so looking forward to the next episode to hopefully get more answers and obviously excited to see more Lumity of course! 🥰🥰🥰💜💜 Awesome video as always and I look forward to the next reaction video. 😍😍💗
Love how Dana made us believe there was a doppelganger of Luz but nope it's just a cute little fellow named Vee
I watched this episode in the dark after work and I dead ass had to put a light on I was so shookith.
My money is on that Luz Camp being changeling trap. Were you go and a changeling takes your place. I assume the changeling just keep at it. No clue what happen to all the other kids or why they didn't notice Luz never arrive. So my headcanon has whole but is my best guess.
The rollercoaster of emotions we go through in that last scene is incredible, i got tears of horror the first time i saw it
I'M SO HYPED
Hey luz! 😜
@@sliverplayz4862 *Hi*
If you watched Luz fighting Belos, you'll see that he never drew a spell circle
I imagine his staff helps him use the magic from the island without needing magic circles or glyphs
@@Liltama probably. It also seems much more mechanical compared to the other staffs we've seen.
Neither did GG, and we've seen he's a witch.
This comment and it's replies aged like milk poured onto the sidewalk in January.
Dude, Gwendoline going badass mode on those three scamps was incredible to watch. Her voice actor did so well.
14:06 Bow be like : Owwww Thats ur sneeze UwU
Some people have already mentioned that Lilith is based on a Raven. They are huge birds, much bigger than Barn Owls(which is what Eda's owl beast is based on, you can tell because of the noises it makes). The common raven is roughly twice as long as a Barn Owl, with almost twice the wingspan, and is on average about three times heavier.
"Hey Edna. Who you have Find the entire Plot of Owl House?"
"In the dirty."
"Wait... What?"
none of your comment makes sense
@@abdullahenaya well... Everything what happened now Is because of the Door, that Edna found randomly in the Dirt, that we don't know how old that thing is.
@@DukeVonPumpkin Eda. Not Edna.
I would love to see some a spin off series of young Eda (and a longer a longer season three). So I agree we should right to Disney and tell them!
There is a petition going around with info on where to send our letters.

I am only putting this in my reply because I was bitched out earlier for posting this link. To be fair I wss posting it a lot. Though in my defence that was to spread the word!
Also sorry for the terrible grammer in my main comment. I'll have to fix it later.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that about Belos. Also, I think what he was drinking in his first appearance was actually the magic bile from a random witch's heart. He must use it to give himself magic power/extend his life.
I'm not okay after this ending I'M FREAKING OUT
Yeah im binging your reviews. You know what I noticed? That the more time Luz spends in the Demon Realm away from her mother, the more often she drops into Spanish on a dime T_T like it reminds her of home T_T my heart
21:52 WHAT TF IS THAT! NOT WHO..... BUT WHAT IS THAT! DANA LIED TO US! GUYS IM TERRIFIED FOR LUZ'S MOM
As someone with chronic pain and a family history of autoimmune diseases, the fact that the curse doesn’t have a cure is really big for me. I’ll never be “cured” and seeing that in a hot badass lady like Eda on TV is so fucking cool to see
Ok the fact that she calls that “bay-los” (belos) is human all the way back then and now it’s as good as confirmed is fantastic
Now that I watch this like a year after this came out. I realized how much Elijah cared for this show, even if it’s just a cartoon.
21:13 it’s just so funny how horrified she looks 😂
6:08 Woah, you almost got Luz’s voice down pat when doin that, damn.
15:56 because the crows are usually bigger than the owls, another theory is that Lilith is older than Eda
Not your watch telling you to breathe and calm down LMAO
camila: thank you Luz
all of us: I don't need to sleep I need answers.png
21:09
That expression change is golden
Lilith is very much like pearl, and goes on a similar journey. Not like Pearl was evil but she seemed very stuck up and through time they both became the nerdy type who can be very enjoyable and emotional
Elijah's mom sneezing in the background had me wheezing
Nobody:
Elijah when her mom sneezed:
GOD BLESS YOU!
Therapist: creepy luz isnt real, she cant hurt you
Creepy luz: OLA NIÑOOOOO
Gwendolyn shows up: you think that is spit worthy
Me sees creepy: *spits out water* now that is spit worthy
Also I loved your reaction and I changed my profile picture from a grim reaper sitting on a grave stone to luz and amity kissing so what do you think
21:04 JAJAJAJAJ So many emotions in a moment
Vee's introduction was a lot creepier than necessary.
I find it really interesting Lilith's beast-form is raven-based because, like, her Palisman is a raven which implies that if, for example, Gwen were to be afflicted by a similar curse her beast form would be an eagle (and so on and so forth) which just makes me wonder even more about the exact nature of the bond between Palisman and Witch.
literally predicted belos being philip within seconds of knowing philip existed
Creepy Luz is terrifying!
Can’t wait for next week for Lumity!
I think the reason the two owl beasts were fighting each other is because how some animals can’t recognize themselves in mirrors
Creepy Luz: *exists*
Elijah: S H O O K E T H
19:43 the moment I heard it I never stopped saying it, it just makes sense
This one sparks joy: “mama edalith”
This on does not spark joy: “edalith”

(Edit: I wrote this before you said it in the video)
Hey, I said this in another channel, but what if Belos is the human that appeared/disappeared.
Crazy how on point some of the theories were

Luz waking up to a loud " *BEANS* " is underrated as a meme
This is why I can forgive season 1 Lilith. Her scars ran so deep, it seeps through her consciousness. I bet her Raven beast is bigger because of all of that baggage.
This show is all about mommy issues.
In the last part of the movie with luz’s mom, you said that luz was creepy and as soon as I look I was kinda spooked 🥲
It's a good thing Mama Edalith had Luz as she was the wise one this time, remember in early season 1 when Eda told Luz to "never trust a man in casual drapery" aka Old wizards in fancy pyjamas.
If you look closely in Camila’s home there’s a Dominican flag! I’m Puerto Rican but that made me happy to see!
I immediately thought of Belos as the first human
-always has a mask on
-shoves green palisman stuff in his eyes, might be titan blood,
-wants a portal to the human world
-the mom says her great grandmother heard about another human. Belos apparently rose to power 50 years ago so the timeline fits.
-he might have a whole Wizard of Oz motif going for him. like he's actually a charlatan.
The mention of him comes from an episode where the healer is a fake so it fits the theme of the episode.
Yes NSAF I'm ready for this!!!!
🤣 Your reactions are always so good, but this one was amazing! Your watch telling you to breathe. Also as a fellow Latinx watching a few low Latina watch a show with a Latina lead character just makes me so happy!
P.S. Your fan art is amazing! 👍🏽
Aged like milk but hey we got a cute lizard daughter out of it
See thing is, when the scene with Gwen stealing all the elixirs, i realized that it could (and probably is) depicting anti-vax people LMFAO. Not listening to doctors and using her own ways to help her daughter (like using essential oils like a lot of anti-vac people do). Just food for thought 😧😬
She literally said “you don’t know what are in those” when referring to the elixirs
I cried a lot at this episode, like… A LOT!!!
Dear Sister NSAF,
When you see Creepy Luz in the middle of the night on the last scene in episode 4 and stuck on your mind, you just like... 👇🏻
It's so hard to sleep in the middle of the night if I still keep thinking about that Creepy Luz inside the darkness... 😳😳😳😳😳
Nice reaction video NSAF, can't wait for the next week about LUMITY!!!!!
