Not from me. I don't have licenses for the software. But I can tell you from personal experience that installing CATIA V5 and the 3DExperience version of SolidWorks is much more complicated than installing Creo.
I'm having a major issue with creo 9.0 I'm currently attending uni, and used the process for getting creo 9.0 to install. I extract the zip folder, run the setup.exe and I get a popup saying "do you want to allow this app to make changes?" I click yes Then the cursor gets a little blue circle for a couple seconds, then nothing. I have deleted/re-downloaded the original zip file at least 10 times, I've scoured the forums to find one singular instance similar to mine that has been unanswered for months. Windows 11 pro on 64 bit, Lenovo ThinkPad
Hi David, Can you make a video on how to buy a license (working professional) and the different license types that can be afforded by the general users.
Short answer is that I won’t. The way you buy a license is by contacting a Value Added Reseller. You can find them on the PTC website. But I don’t go into license types because they change frequently. Sometimes annually. As for which ones can be afforded, I am not permitted to discuss license costs.
Excellent job as usual. ANYONE ever make some "custom" desktop icons for CREO for the the different versions? IF you are more a "job shop" you might be running different versions of CREO for different customers and it would be nice to have icons that are more distinctive. Could but just the standard icon, but with a BIG "11" in the middle to signify this is the shortcut for CREO 11.0... just a thought...
Lots of companies do it. When I was a consultant, I saw many companies put their own branding on their Creo icons. Creating an icon isn't hard. There are plenty of editors and converters to make .ico files.
Can we have to video regarding the installation of Solidworks and Catia V5
