I just had a stomp down argument last night with my wife and that very subject. She lies to avoid logic because logic seems to be her kryptonite. When I was younger my mother always told me it's a man's world and she was absolutely right! I do think that women are the weaker vessel. The man is the Captain. The Woman is the 1st Officer... what does this mean?
Before the man makes an important decision that will affect the relationSHIP he should talk to his woman. They should discuss it together before the man makes the final decision. The woman may give the man some good advice or insight. That's a role of the 1st Offcer to offer wise alternatives if there is disagreement. The other role of the 1st Officer is to carry out the orders of the Captain. Once the Captain makes the decision the 1st Officer no longer debates the Captain instead he carries out the orders to the best of his abilities.
Woman these days feel compelled to argue and resist the man's leadership if they don't agree with it. The man doesn't want to deal with mutiny every time his authority is challenged so instead he rather be Captain of his own ship and be alone if that's what it takes.

emotions can be good because they are the brains way of communicating answers to complex situations very quickly. The flipside is that they aren't always 100% accurate, and should not be allowed to rule your decision making. Socrates talked about the lion, the many-headed-monster, and the man. The lion is instinct, the many-headed-monster is emotions, and the man is logic. The man must rule over the lion and the monster, but they are part of him.
Instincts are subconscious, so we cannot control them. Emotions are the first response of our conscious mind to our instincts, so they can't really be inaccurate. Logic comes from our higher (human) mind and determines how we interpret and respond to our emotions/instincts.
Everybody has them and uses them. That’s clear, but the trick is to control your emotions, not vice versa.

I grew up in China and moved to the US after college, for graduate school, and then I found a job and stayed. It has been more than 10 years and I turned out to be just alright. Ok yes the woman is weaker than the man and yes emotions can be a reason for you to be weak. But it can also make you strong, some people enter depression and get out of there. And they enter this process of exercising or making yourself better than you were. I don’t think the woman should obey the man in some occasions yes but it’s not about obeying. A woman has the right to put her opinion on men than they can talk it out and reach a point where they can agree with one another and if they don’t it’s fine.
