Isn't that a great week for us old timers?
Jaedong qualified for ro16. Stork played two solid PvT and qualified as well. (Granted, Stork's opponents made it easy for him. Mind's push was just dumb, and JyJ sent three tanks way too far forward. But even if the games were "easy", Stork himself still looked clean. He had a good read on what he needed to do, and did it cleanly.)
I feel 20 years younger!
(And it's going to get even better. Just wait for Jaedong's next games.)

I'm happy for stork. A few years ago he said he was going to retire after getting eliminated first round of ASL so I'm glad he not only didn't retire but played his best tournament games in years! Last few seasons he just looked bad, rushed to carriers and lost so badly. This was amazing to see him go back to basics and play out of his mind

Someone needs to show JYJ how to shift click his vultures onto scvs instead of letting them auto-attack and let the vultures get distracted and slightly damage a bunch of scvs.

Ro24 can be rough. Real rough. I get all these players are super good, but still, the difference in skill is sometimes sooo glaring. Free could be renamed to FreeWin when playing in the ASL.

Glad to see Stork through and JyJ. Started really following Brood War again when JyJ made his miracle run. He beat Soulkey en route, and is one of the few players to give Soulkey problems lately in ASL (had a 2-0 lead in Ro8 in season 16 before SK came back).

I legitimately only care about watching Zerg matches so this is NEARLY worst case scenario for me.
I've already been disappointed in the last few ASL's due to an overwhelming number of short matches and it just keeps getting worse. (For me.)

Yeah, I called it a couple years ago when I said that brood war at the highest level has become so high level that small early game leads or better openers are almost exclusively deciding games. Very very rarely do we see games that are even at the 13 minute mark
