  • Welcome or welcome back! Since you’re here, you may be wondering how on Earth do you make my own almond milk? Today we’re here to show you exactly how to do just that using the Nama J2 juicer. If you missed it, we started off with 4 cups of almonds and 4 cups of filtered water. One thing to make note of is that the almonds need to be soaked in a clean source of water for at least 12 hours to allow the nuts to blend more easily into a smooth, creamy milk with a higher yield. Soaking the nuts also activates enzymes that make the milk more nutritious. Next, we worked together adding nuts and filtered water to the juicer. The juicer left behind quite a bit of pulp in the milk so we used a fine mesh strainer. I highly recommend using a cheesecloth to strain the milk for a smooth, creamy texture. You can add vanilla extract and maple syrup to this milk for a flavor enhancer. You can also add strawberries to make STRAWBERRY ALMOND MILK!
