You totally should invent your own brand/company for these planes you would do good and your planes would be a popular pick for a lot of people. Keep up the great work your skills are the best .
Unfortunately, you couldn’t sell these at a reasonable or even close to competitive cost, unless you don’t value your time and labor.
probably the best 3d printed plane ive seen so far. I like your style. looking forward to more of your builds!
Except its only 3D printed body(fuselage) not a plane. That being said, it looks stunning.
This guy is a Genius!
What you do in this small space blows my mind! You are incredibly talented!
I love how you combined Balsa and 3d Printing
Great looking plane and good Workmanship but would suck to crash , probably make me cry but crashing it part of the hobby just build another just such a work of art to ever have the chance of ruining in a crash.
What a dream workshop and tools you have ... thank you for your sharing ... really enjoying to watch
Amazing I would just hang it on the lounge wall as Art, very nice.
belíssimo trabalho! que avião lindo!
Muito obrigado. Voei no final de semana passado com esse avião, muita alegria e prazer
The U Shape table is fantástic.
Wow!!! That turn out extra extra nice
Beautiful although black is a brave choice for LWPLA..
Well done! A full exercise of the complete spectrum of modern building. Great skill sets!
мужик ты мастер ты супер. я 10 лет в детстве строил самолеты. и 10 лет взрослым. я уме очень много. но мне очень нравится то что ты делаешь. спасибо тебе.
Fantastic job! Consistently high quality videos with even more impressive craftsmanship.
The very beautiful bird!
Your building skills are second to none!
Enjoy all your builds! You rarely fly any so I was surprised and happy to see the maiden flight! You should do it for all your builds.
really clean look, nice color on the wings, really looks like a space age design with a nice traditional(?) shape.
ps. vibin with the holographic stickers, makes the transparent color pop and vice-versa
Your shop is awesome! I wish I had a laser cutter, an oven, and a vacuum mold setup so I could build this plane. #goals
You probably have an oven, you can get a 3d printer, laser cutter and vacuum mold for under $1000
So cool to watch perfection at work - love your work man. I second the thought of a couple of other comments: Please consider to make kits available...
Very nice model!
Such a litter cute RC plane, I love it! Well done!👍
Lovely work! Thanks for doing such a great job showcasing your creative approach while bringing attention to the hobby! Your Extra looks quite well behaved and your construction technique is beautiful! Great job, Roolaid.
Awesome job. That plane came out looking great!! Keep the great videos coming.
increible amigo!!!!!
Perfect!
Great idea!
👍
красиво!
Nice job
Марко поздравляю,у тебя очередная отличная модель, очень хорошо сделана и отлично летает!!!
Nice work 👍
Hello Marko, it is amazing plane. would it be possible to share the full fuselage model so it can be sliced for smaller 3d printer ?
UA-cam Recommendations are on point, this morning.
That plane is gorgeous. =^/,..,^=
Assim fica facil de fazer um aero. Quero ver fazer na raça dede o projeto no papel. So deu like pelo seu empenho de fazer o video
Nice the clear plastic canopy I need to learn that.please explain
Nice build, can you share the laser cutter used? Thanks
Congratulations, your designs and creations are always perfect !
but please ! don't move the camera too much ! ;)
Sincerely
I'm really sorry about the camera shake. The idea was that I tried to make a video based on the FPV principle, with the camera attached to my head, but later when making a timelapse video, the situation was very bad. I don't do it anymore ;)
@@markoroolaid I didn't want to criticize your work (which is great) but I made this comment to you because I could no longer follow the video ;)
Cool job 💪
I love the framed wings, color choice and that you took the extra steps to do a clear canopy - it definitely captures the essence of the Extra. My one critique would be that the fuz around the gear should maybe be reinforced or have a former to take the load, although your design where the legs meet at an apex is clever there will still be load on the fuz at the exits and possibly at the apex - still very clever design, my only mod will be to use aluminium bent gear with a liteply former inside the fuz where it mounts
How do you apply iron on film without warping the printed frame and does the film stick to the plastic easily?
this is one of the most beautiful and coolest homemade planes i have ever seen. and i have seen some. very well done.
Hey Marko a challenge for you how about designing a Gyrocopter
Hello
A very interesting idea. I have looked at them and even thought about making them. At the same time, when I watch videos of other tests, the motivation goes away :)
Most people don't have a laser cutter...
Great work it would be helpful if you put a tutorial on how you designed it
I look up to you !
Amazing! Very very cool! You just spray painted the balsa wood and then put the film over it? I'm biulding a plane with geodesic wing and this will for sure be transparent film, but I really would like some color over the wood too.
Thanks!
Very nice job ! I may attempt to build one but instead of making the tail and the wing in balsa I would rather build it in depron… did you think that could work ?
Not sure I'd fly there lol Great build though.
When do we get to see the maiden flight of Scrappy?!?!
This is one hell of a beautiful plane as well!! She sure does fly nice and smooth!!
Nice work. Why not print the wings to? Or is balsa used to limit weight?
So joining two printed parts together edge-to-edge with just glue is enough to keep the parts assembled? Nothing more required?
Great Work! I printed 3 of them! Wich airfoil is it? I will cut EPP wings with my CNC Hotwire and I need a DAT File! Thanks!!
Hello
I made this airfoil myself, so you have to take it directly from the drawing
Hi, just subbed. Beautiful plane. I want to attempt to build it. What vinyl cutter are using to make your decals?
hi, link www.ebay.com/itm/125777977934?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3Df8696e1fb0e946c6bb88c73eba1daf6b%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D125777977934%26itm%3D125777977934%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2380057&_trksid=p2380057.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3Abfa3fdc2-c57e-11ed-b168-3e079231317e%7Cparentrq%3Af4722dad1860aa7224424a1ffffee43c%7Ciid%3A1
I’m making an extra 300 in 3d print, just not at this scale and not motorised. My school won’t let me touch electronics until I’m in yr 11.
wow that's great to hear. If you can share pictures of the project, that would be great to see
@@markoroolaid there is a couple issues. 1 i have to use the school computer (gonna get one by Christmas)
2 Its a lunchtime project, and the building my class is at is separated by 2 footy fields (Aussie rules) so i dont have much time each session
So expect those photos in maybe a month
Would be better video if you used a static camera instead of the go pro on your head
hello! A question, I can't get plw in my country... how many perimeters would you recommend to do it with a 0.4mm nozzle? And another question, the battery has a cover cut under the cowl, right? thank you
projeto perfeito teria como compartilhar os arquivos stls por gentileza muito top ficou esse aviao
parabens
Todos os meus desenhos e planos estão localizados aqui: grabcad.com/marko.roolaid-1/models
Hi amazing plane.
Whats the cost in 3d printer materials for such a project? Assuming all prints out ok first time
In 3D printing filament does not cost much. The roll costs EUR 35.- and it makes at least 4 EXTRA 300s
very nice plane. Where can i find a plan for the vacuum machine for the canopy ? thanks
Hello, first of all thank you very much for sharing the project!
I would like to know which settings on the slicer I should pay attention to to be able to print the fuselage, could you tell me? thanks!
Hi, I'm using Cura slicer. Filament. eSUN LW. I use a 1mm nozzle. The main one is the "Spiralize Outer Contour" mode. Speed 40mm/s, nozzle temp 250 and bed 50. Bottom 0 layers.
@@markoroolaid Thank you very much, I will build an extra one soon, all the woods have already been cut, waiting for the filament and carbon rods to arrive.
It looks beautiful! Your work is very impressive, big respect.
PS: What kind of type are you using for hinges, it looks like regular tape :)
3D printing comes to us from God because he knew we needed it to make more model airplanes!!
:) yees
