The lineup was bob marley and the wailers. The Average White Band. Joe Jackson band and the Q tips with Paul Young.Tickets were £7.50 Each on the Door. Me and my brother and Ian were on the left side of the stage at the front where a lake is in front of the stage. I remember concorde came over Crystal Palace Park When bob marley and the wailers came on the stage at the beginning of the gig. 15.000 People Turned up to see the wailers bob marley biggest gig in London. This must be the only hour of the festival it didn’t rain. I spent all 5 days absolutely soaked and freezing cold, loved every minute of it.
Our parents got Bob.....we got Damian, Julian, Stephen, Ziggy & Kymani......not bad at all. Any one of these guys is a treat to see live.
