I actually saw the Knight Zombie animation back when the game was still in its soft release. Since nobody mentioned it, I was starting to wonder if I was seeing things, but at least now I know what I saw.
something tells me that originally, there was going to be an "armored" animation that would play when an armored plant or zombie was hurt. This is because all of the armored zombies without other abilities act like that with their animation (most obvious is knight)
This is a good way at finding hidden animations. Too bad there's no legit way to find the plants' hidden animations. Edit - Chum Champion's is...weird. Weird in the fact that it doesn't use its normal ability animation. Is it using the evolution's or something, because barely anything happens.
I might be wrong on this, but I think when zombies are buffed by ancient vimpire, they do their own animation instead of the vimpire doing one; they're probably just the same as the overshoot though

It basically just repeats the animation that they would use to do their effect.
Incorrect, a few either don't have a special animation, or like gargologist and zombologist, they have special animations
The Puppeteering one Zombology and Gargologist both had special animations, but you were correct anyways
