This is called "Cud nad Wisłą" (miracle on the Vistula). The sentences in the title and at the end of the video allude to our national anthem called "Mazurek Dąbrowskiego". It begins:
    "Jeszcze Polska nie zginęła
    kiedy my żyjemy,
    co nam obca przemoc wzięła,
    szablą odbierzemy."
    (Poland has not yet perished
    while we are alive,
what foreign violence took from us,
we will take back with the saber.).
And the sentece from the ending:
    "Jak Czarniecki do Poznania
    Po szwedzkim zaborze,
    Dla ojczyzny ratowania
    Wrócim się przez morze."
    (Like Czarniecki to Poznań
    After the Swedish partition,
    For saving the homeland
    We will return by sea.)

i can tell you that it wasn't all Pilsudski's strategic victory, because the defense was managed by Tadeusz Rozwadowski and this man was crazy at battle

Piłsudski had no military education, but his decisions were final. Many generals were former officers in the German or Austrian army. Many soldiers also fought in World War I and sometimes commands at the front were given in German rather than Polish because they were used to it and it was easier. When the Russians heard the German language, they thought they were fighting the Germans and sometimes, taught by experience, they fled the battlefield.

And then Rozwadowski was captured and imprisoned after Piłsudski's coup in 1925. Rozwadowski died shortly after that. There is a theory that he could have been murdered (poisoned) on Piłsudski's orders, just like General Zagórski (he just disapeared). After the coup, Piłsudski introduced a military dictatorship in Poland and that's why Hitler admired him.

The Battle of Warsaw is also called The Miracle on the Vistula. It was definitely one of the most important battles in the history of Europe. Soviets planned, after defeating Poland, to go further and spread their ideology also to the Western European countries. In the war against Bolsheviks the only country that helped Poland was Hungary. They sent to Poland ammunition and some weapons. Other countries, like Germany, Austria and Czechoslovakia were even trying to block this help. Up till now in Poland on 15th August, in commemoration, is a feast - A National Day of Polish Armed Forces. There are military parades organised at that day. And it's also a religious feast of Mother of God, on the same day, because Polish believed that in the victory over Bolsheviks She was helping Poland.

4:45 I pay attention to this moment. Another installment of Germany's traditional cooperation with Russia. In the 18th century, in 1920 and just 19 years later, when they jointly attacked Poland and jointly committed genocide (Gestapo-NKVD agreement).

After the defeat at Warsaw, Tychachevsky still believed in his ultimate victory. Only another defeat of his troops at the Battle of the Niemen River forced the Russians to abandon their plan to conquer Poland and make peace with Poland at Riga.
A great role in defeating the Russians was played by Polish cryptologists:
    Koralewski - a linguist
    Lesniewski - a logician
, Mazur and Sierpinski - mathematicians.

In the next video I will give you some suggestions for topics you can choose and discuss. Let's see if any of you like it?
Funny scenes from old Polish films from the 1930s. From videos like: " Jadzia " , " Pietro wyżej " " zapomniana melodia " . The best Polish actors of the 1930s, including: Eugeniusz Bodo, Aleksander Żabczyński, Ina Benita, Jadwiga Smosarska, Hanka Ordonówna. The most famous musical pieces of the 1980s and 1990s: : Odziała zamknięty tytuł " Obudź się " Bajm tytuł " Płynie w nas gorąca krew " , Manam : " Krakowski Splin " Lady Pannk "Zostawcie Tytanika " , Mister Zoob , " nie gniewaj się Waldek ten tramwaj jest naprawdę twój " , Lombard , " Przeżyj to sam " . There's a lot to choose from, for now it's rock music, but there are also Polish songs, poetry, blues, Polish reage and children's songs, which are also cool. Classical music .

    - the interception and decoding of Soviet radio messages before and during this battle was very important in this victory
    - in this battle, the Polish army was supported by American pilots as volunteers
    - there is a strong presumption that it was General Rozwadowski, and not Piłsudski, who very skillfully commanded the Polish troops there at that time (famous order no. 10,000)

Here they keep saying Piłsudski, Piłsudski, Piłsudski... Not Piłsudski, but General Rozwadowski (Piłsudski was a dilettante who gave himself the rank of marshal). It was Rozwadowski who planned this battle and he is the author of the victory. (this aroused Piłsudski's jealousy and he was murdered by the marshal's men)

I'am Pole and sorry but "Poland saved Europe" is quite big exaggeration. Poland saved itself with French and Hungarian help. If Poland fell, that would change nothing in Europe. Soviet forces advancing west would be wiped out by western countries, much stronger than Poland. Also soviets had no logistics to advanced and take over for example Weimar Republic
