Sir the question man covers certain distance 3 km/hr take 40 min less. One thing bug me, making second equation i.e 2km/hr slow down take 40 min more.so the equ should be Time of (x-2) minus time of actual.Hope you get my point.The lesser speed take more time.Kindly check it sir.

sir i have a doubt that in 2 nd question .u r taken b^2 and c^2 as km/hr .but a^2 taken just in km .so its is not possible to take km=km/hr+km/hr. ie 50^2(km)=2x(km/hr)+2(x+5)(km/hr)
