Small suggestion, I think it’s high time we should drop the titles “Desi ”. Even if it is to make people understand, we can call Iron Beam equivalent, contemporary or Iron Beam jaisa. It feels like we are copying them or no identity of ourselves.

Kali is totally different system. Kali has soft kill approach by destroying the electronics while laser beams has hard kill approach by creating a hole.

Kali was initially developed for industrial purpose and military purpose has not been explored yet
we cannot compare our case to Israel. they have to defend small territory from a small armed enemy. Laser beam makes sense for them. Considering their laser has range of 7 kms and Iron dome has 70 kms. The laser based defence is very very short range shield. Our critical base are not that close to border that they can be picked or harmed by short range projectiles. Consider creating small hemi-sphere representing defence shield. How many would you create on such a big border/land mass. This may be suitable for destroyer/air craft carrier which are nuclear powered (for the mass energy requirement). I hope they see my point here.

The main issue was ENTIRELY different. Hamas made crude rockets which cost only a few dollars each and each Iron dome missile cost thousands of dollars . The iron beam will cost only about $3 per shot. A crude rocket destroyed 7 km away is perfectly fine.
@@siddharthshekhar909 rockets won't b crude forever. concept of drones is changing the rules, they will find targets bypassing the secured domes. A wall however strong will encourage the enemy to make better, do better. Israel have to find a different path.
