- Even the cold November air can’t stop this Haught Cop from bringing a smile to our faces. Since her first entrance into Shorty’s, the character of Officer Nicole Haught immediately made an impact on the fans. Now Sheriff Haught and of course one half of arguably one of the most popular Queer Ships around, the character has evolved beyond anyone’s expectations.
Kat Barrell joins us to bring insight into her process behind making Nicole so beloved by fans, where she hope the next progression of Nicole’s journey will lead and answers fan questions. You still have time to think of creative ones!

I'm glad she talked about how waverly going into the garden will bring out a darker side to Nicole, because that's exactly what I saw happening as soon as waverly was taken. I knew that Nicole was gonna lose her shit basically 😂 and do what ever it took to get her back... bring on season 4.

People are getting on the moderator for talking a lot, which I understand, but honestly from watching the whole thing Kat doesn't seem even a little bit annoyed at any point. She actually said she was so glad someone else was up there with her and that she was intimidated doing it alone, and she always has conversations on panels (mostly with her costars). She's also said in the past that she can get anxious sometimes, so I actually think overall the moderator was good to engage with her so much because it might have actually made it easier, less stressful, more conversational etc.

Whenever I'm sad or depressed, I watch a convention of Wynonna Earp, a casting interview such as this one, the videos of Start The Wave or Kat's speech on mental health and it cheers me up immediately. It's such a relief to see that there are still good people in the world. So thank you so soooo much for sharing it 😍

She is such a great role model. I'm so happy I started watching this show recently and have been obsessing over just how incredibly well versed and deep every answer is from each member of the Wynonna Earp cast. But Kat is just on another level, her whole persona is magic. Like everytime I hear her answers I just want to have conversations with her.
Kat Barrell can carry a panel alone... she's engaging to talk to. No stalling with answers. Love her. Kudos to the moderator as well.

I really like the moderator, because the way she is responding to Kat, is a really quick, and classic way of A building rapport, and B. Letting Kat know that she is listening. She is making Kat comfortable to opening up a little more, the focus being this is a one on one conversation between let's say two friends Vs interviewer, and intreviewy. This type of communication is often used in a call center type setting, and those who use this type of technique gets a more positive response/reaction

This is exactly what I commented. She does that at every panel, taking a moment to look at the crowed and at as many people's faces she can. So humble and appreciating.

It is always great to have the two together. But this has highlighted the enormous talent Kat has. Plus the same insecurities everyone feels in life. And it was good see her relax on her own.

I don’t know what kind of job I would do as a moderator but the way this one kept interrupting Kat and giving all theses details about her life got really annoying. But she did ask some pretty cool questions.
Nice Panel..If only the moderator could make her comment minimal. I heard her more than Kat.

Kat said she was nervous to be doing the panel by herself and I think that the moderator engaging with Kat and making it seem more like a conversation rather than an interview helped boost her confidence and helped her relax more
